Mya arrived at her fathers second home, in St Johns
She went straight up to her bedroom and began to read a book
"Mya, get down here now!" She heard her dad boom from downstairs
She got up from her bed and went to him
"I'm hungry" he told her.
"We'll make yourself a sandwich then!" She spat
"Watch.your.mouth." He seethed
"Fine... Dear father can I make you a sandwich?" She asked sarcastically
"Chicken salad, and watch your tone girl" he sneered.

She prepared his sandwich, and set it down on the table in front of him.
"Now leave" he ordered and she ran back upstairs relieved to be alone
She stayed up in her room for a few hours and then he barged in.

"Mya, I have a job for you, I want you to clean the floors and tidy up, the whole place is covered in dust" he smirked
"Yes father" she replied, she got up and got on with her chores
After 1 hour she sat down, tired

"Did I say you could stop Mya? Why don't you ever do what your told?" He scolded
"I am doing it father, I'm just having a rest!" She argued
Laurence paced the room and ran his fingers over the surface, She was terrified when he came across a bit she hadn't cleaned yet, dust coating his fat long fingers.

"YOU STUPID GIRL!" He roared and lunged at her
Hitting her in the face, he grabbed her by the neck and threw her down on the floor, starting to kick her in her ribs and stomach.
she held her ring "Tobias" she screamed.

"Who the fuck is Tobias?" He father yelled
Continuing to kick her, she thought the pain would never end.
But suddenly the door swung open...

"What is he doing here?" He father roared pointing at Severus
"LET HER GO!!" Severus screamed in anger while pointing his wand at Laurence
"She's my daughter, I'll do whatever the hell I want!" Laurence grinned
"CRUCIO!!!" Severus snarled a beam of light exiting his wand and sending Mya's father to the floor.
"If you ever come near her again, I WILL kill you!!" Severus seethed through gritted teeth.
Severus grabbed Mya's arm they and aparated back to Hogwarts
