Mya's POV

Fred, George, and I made our way to the dungeons for potions, we entered the classroom and the twins took their seats, side by side, naturally.
Which left me with a choice of sitting with Draco, or a blonde Ravenclaw girl with a big smile
Needless to say I plonked myself down next to the the girl,
Hey, there is no way in hell I'd sit with Draco
"Hi, I'm Mya" I smiled at the girl
"Luna" she smiled looking nervously at my Slytherin badge
"Don't worry, I'm not like that lot" I laughed
She relaxed and laughed, and we started chatting

Professor Snape burst into the room, and took his place at the front of the class
"When you have finished your... Important conversation with Miss Lovegood Could You possibly give me your FULL ATTENTION Miss Taylor?" He seethed
"That is unless you want a weeks worth of detention?" He smirked
"No sir, sorry sir" I grovelled
Class continued and Luna and I did well, we brewed our potion perfectly without any hiccups
"So do you wanna hang out sometime Mya? I can bring you the latest copy of the quibbler"
She beamed, she had an airy almost ethereal voice.
"Yeah, I'd like that" I smiled, it would be good to make some more friends after all
We packed away our things, it was time to go to lunch
As I was leaving the classroom I heard a dry velvety voice behind me

"Miss Taylor, a word" it drawled
I nodded, and walked to Professor Snape, i looked up at him waiting for him to speak
"How are you finding your first week at Hogwarts?" He asked
"I'm settling in fine professor, it's a big change but I'm glad of it really" I smiled
"As your head of house, I feel, I do not know enough about your history.... What of your parents? Why did they remove you from beauxbatons?" He inquired his eyes narrowing with each word that crossed his thin lips
"Well, there's not much to know, and it's none of your business ok?" I snapped
"Watch your attitude Miss Taylor, I can ask you what ever I choose and you will show some respect" he snarled
I laughed in his face and left
"Come back here you insolent girl!" He yelled
I ignored him completely and left the room heading for lunch

After lunch I walked back to the Slytherin dormitory and walked into our common room
"GRAB HER" I heard a boy yell and two boys restrained me
"Well, well, Mya.... Think you can just reject me do you? Do you even know who I am?
I'm a Malfoy, and you don't want to get on the wrong side of me" Draco seethed
"Just leave me alone!" I yelled
"Don't worry, I'm just letting you know that you've crossed the wrong person... You don't mess with a Malfoy" he spat.
His buffoons let go of me and pushed me away, and I fell onto my wrist
"Arghhhh" I cried out
I found my feet and ran from the room, I just needed to get away

I went into the corridor, I was crying and clutching my wrist in agony
I tried to conceal it as I don't like to look weak, I wiped away my tears and kept on walking
I knew where I wanted to go, outside in the fresh air
I heard a voice behind me, I knew straight away who it was, it was quite distinctive

"Miss Taylor, you do not leave my classroom until I give permission" he seethed
"Yes sir, sorry sir, it won't happen again" I replied shakily trying not to make eye contact
Instead I looked at the floor.
"Are you alright Miss Taylor?" His voice sounded...kind
"Yes professor Snape I'm fine" I lied
"Look at me girl!" He snarled,
I looked up at him and his mean and angry face softened
He put his hand on my shoulder, I winced
"Miss Taylor?" He seemed confused at my reaction
"Please don't touch me!" I cried out
He removed his hand and told me to follow him.
