Marinas pov

"Finnick odair" the intercom said

"Good luck" I said as finnick stood up from the black stools that we had to sit in and wait.

"Thanks. see you in a bit" he said and walked into the arena. I looked around. people were talking about what there going to do and how they hate that they have to do this again. I look a bit more and see katniss and peeta. I wave to them and they wave back. I look around and figure that I'll be fine to walk over to them. even if we sent suppose to leave our seats. I stood up and sat beside katniss.

"Hey" I said

"Hey" they said

"What are you guys doing?" I asked

"It's a surprise" peeta said

"We will tell you later" katniss said

"Ok because I have no idea what I'm going to do" I said

"You should show the new painting skills you have because of me!" peeta said

"Or show your weapon skills" katniss said

"Or maybe your knot tying skills!" peeta and katniss said at the same time.

"Ok that was weird... I'll think about doing one of them and tell you later!" I said.

"Marina Calto" the intercom said and I walked into the arena with a fake smiling face.

"Marina Calto. district 4" I said and saw them hide the furnature. weird. I thought about what I was going to do for a second and got an idea. I made a net with the rope that was laid out and got a dummy and with the black paint and painted the face with random squabbles. I put the word 'me' on the chest and put the dummy in the net hanging it in the air and took some arrows, knifes, and tridents and tree them at 'me'.

"And this is what will happen when you put someone with AMNESIA in the games with victors." I said and bowed. I walked out of the arena proudly after I threw a trident just up of the showing area so it stuck on the wall. I walked to the lift and punched in 12 so I could wait for katniss and peeta there. the lifts door opened and I walked to the couch sitting down. what is happening in my life? why are they doing this to me? if this is what I'm going to have to live with my entire life.... then.... I don't want to come back! I just want to die!

"Oh marina! I didn't know it was you. I thought that it was katniss or peeta" a oddly familiar girl with gold hair said.

"Ohh. I'm sorry. mind me asking how you know me?" I asked

"Ohh ya. you don't remember anything. my name is effie. and when you went into the hungergames I was sorta like a intern to candy. the girl that pickes the tributes" Effie said

"Oh.. I'm sorry" I apologized

"Why are you apologizing?" she asked

"Well I don't remember anything. or anyone for that matter. and well... I fell bad about it" I said

"Don't be. it's not your fault for falling" she said

"I guess but still. I hate this life. you know. not remembering anything or anyone. it sucks. everyday I try to remember something, someone, anything really. but nothing ever comes back. I swear people hate me, katniss, peeta, people from my district and even finnick! I doubt they are worrying about me right now. maybe rejoicing that I'm gone. that's why if I go into these games...... I'm not coming out alive. I'm going to help them all till the end and that's it. I don't want to come back. not to this life. maybe when I'm gone I'll remember everything. one can only hope" I spilled out my heart to Effie

"Ohh marina" she said coming and hugging me. I didn't even notice that I was crying until Effie whipped the tears off of my cheeks.

"I'm sorry. I must look like a stupid little kid" I said

"No it's ok. I understand but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't come out of the games. you will get your memory back with out dieing. I just know it" she said

"Doubt it. please don't tell anyone about this" I said

"But why?" she asked

"Just promise me you won't tell anyone!" I said

"Ok.... I promise" Effie sighed.

"Hey guys!" I heard peeta tell from inside the lift.

"Hey" me and Effie said

"What's up?" peeta asked

"Nothing" I said and Effie left.

"Should we wait for katniss?" peeta asked

"Ya I think we should" I said and he sat beside me turning on the tv.

"I'm back! ohh hey marina!" katniss said walking in from the lift.

"Hey!" I yelled and she sat on the other side of me

"Ok. peeta what did you do? and why did it smell like floor cleaner. with a blanket in the middle of the floor?" katniss asked

"I painted a picture of rue" peeta said

"Who's rue?" I asked

"A 12 year old that helped me last year in the games. she is also from district 11" katniss said and pictures of kids popped into my head but I didn't know who they were.

"What did you do katniss?" peeta asked

"I showed my new knot tying skills but hanging a dummy with the name Seneca crane on it" she said and peeta laughed.

"why about you marina?" Peeta asked

"Ohh I used your guys' advise and showed my new camouflage skills, my knot tying skills and my weapon skills." I started. and told them everything. from my making the net and throwing the trident at the game makers.

"You'd think we planned it" peeta said smiling

"I guess so" I said

"So that's why that trident was up there" katniss said

"Ya... that was me" I said

"Your just like me, you know?" She said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Well last year I shot an arrow to a apple in a pigs mouth that the game makers were so happy about." katniss said

"Haha! yes!" I said high fiveing her

"Well I'm going to bed good night" peeta said leaving the room

"Can I ask you something?" katniss asked

"Anything" I replied

"Well I'm going to do anything that I can do to keep peeta alive and well... Can you help me keep him alive?" she asked

"Ya of course!" I said and she hugged me

"Well I'm tired. goodnight. you can stay the night if your able to" katniss said

"Thank you" I said.

"Bye" katniss said and I stayed in the room thinking if I should stay here or go back. I should really go back... but, on the other hand the couch is right here and I'm lazy. ya I'll stay here. I layers down and fell asleep. not caring about what people will say in the morning.
