In the group, Hannah was the leader. She expressed all the ideas, with him and Michael followed closely behind.
But she, she was different. Being the remaining member of the group, she just sat there giggling awkwardly every so often.
And of course, looking at him.

They had work to do.

And for a second, his eyes flickered up to hers and shone as he offered her a friendly smile.
But a split second later, it was gone.

And she thought it was funny, when you had a crush on someone, that every time they looked at you, no matter how short it was, your brain automatically tricked you into thinking they were falling in love with you.
But the reality was, ninety nine percent of the time, liking you would never even cross his mind.
