Chapter 15
I walk into see the small lifeless body of my 8 year old sister. I walk over grabbing her hand as watching her chest rise and fall with every breath.
"Please wake up babe." I mumbled to her hand remembering when I found out about having a little sister.
*FlashBack*
I was sitting In my room playing with my barbies when my mom and dad walked in. My dad used to be really nice before he stated to drink.
"Hey Hailey.." My mom said. I smiled at them laying my Barbie down as they sat down on my bed. "We have a surprise for you" My eyes lit up.
Surprise?
"What is it?" I yelled as the cringed a bit at my sudden outburst of excitement.
"Well.." My mom started looking at dad.
"We are having another baby." He said. I smiled.
"I'm going to be a big sister?" They nodded. "I'm going to be the best big sister ever!" I said looking at my mommy's tummy. "I promise."
*FlashBack over*
I look down at my sister. I can't believe I didn't keep my promise. I failed at being a big sister. I'm the worst sister ever.
"I'm going to make it up to you.. I promise."
