Even though I've shared my feelings, my heart is still heavy.
To think that I loved you more than my own life.
Only to be repaid with disrespect and defiance.
I thought the walls around my delicate heart were strong enough to block it out.
I left myself exposed, open to the pain you both inflicted,
When you forgot about me.
