Snake in the Grass

I see you over there slithering, crawling.
Waiting.
For someone to walk by with a weak mind.
That's when you strike.
Sneaking through their minds,
Taking all that they have,
Leaving them even lower than
You.
Your poison fills them with hate and self doubt.
Like crabs in a barrel, you bring all those around you,
Down.
Sneaky snake, I see you,
For I am an eagle.
You shall be my meal,
So that you can no longer thwart the minds of others.
I will rid the world of your kind
One by one.
Until no one needs your services,
No one will even give you a chance,
Because now they can see you too.
