The first time you entered my life, I had no idea what was going on.
Out of no where sprang a thought.
My body reacting uncontrollably.
One thought!
My throat is closing,
My chest is tight,
My heart racing,
Eyes wide,
Stomach churning,
Hands shaking,
Sweat pouring,
Can't even move,
I'm possessed!
By a demon
Named
Anxiety
Now I know your name,
You no longer have control over me.
You try everyday, infiltrating my thoughts.
But no longer will you control my mind.
One day at a time I WILL defeat you.
I'll teach others too.
Until you have no more power,
Your existence will be extinguished.
Get back demon!
