You were close to your due date according to your doctor, two weeks to be exact and you haven't heard from Derek. Since he's left your relationship with the pack members have grown closer. When you had told them about your pregnancy, since you knew you couldn't hide it for much longer to say they were surprised was an understatement. At first, they were pissed at Derek for leaving you behind pregnant. But after telling them that he didn't know you were pregnant they tried to convince you to call and tell him but you were quick to reply by saying that if you weren't enough for him to stay in Beacon Hills what would make them think a baby was.
Even though they didn't agree with your decision they were all very helpful with your pregnancy. Especially since you didn't have any family to help you, the pack became your family. Helping you find a big enough apartment for your baby, you and also a spare room for when one of the pack members would want to stay over.
Scott had especially been helpful and with Mama McCall being a nurse she was also very helpful. But with Derek gone Scott being the true alpha he felt the need to step up and not only be alpha and look after his pack but watch over you. He came with you to the appointments, he helped you set up the baby room and he was with you through all your late night cravings.
Today he was taking you to the grocery store because he didn't like you going anywhere alone when you were as big as you were. Scott was pushing the trolley and you were walking or more like waddling beside him with your large belly that felt like it was weighing you down 20kgs.
You weren't watching where you were going when you bumped into someone. Your arms immediately wrapping around your waist protectively. You felt strong arms wrap around your waist catching you and thinking it was Scott you looked up smiling. Your breath suddenly caught in your throat and your eyes widened at the person that was in front of you. Immediately you stepped out of his arms and your suprised expression turned cold.
You saw his eyes scan over you his eyes stopping on your large belly that wasn't very hidden in the tight sundress that you wore.

"Who's the dad?" He spoke teeth gritted.
"Y/N! Stop walking away! You know I get worried!" Scott's frantic voice spoke as he swerved around the corner with the trolley.
"Scott calm down, I can't get very far," You put your hand on his bicep in a friendly way.
"I know but-"
"He's the dad?" Derek spoke angrily, first clenching and eyes flashing blue.
Scott's head snapped up at the sound of his voice and he stood in front of you protectively letting his red eyes flash.
You rolled your eyes and pulled Scott back.
"No Scott isn't the father, not that's any of your business."
"Than who did you sleep with!?"
"You, you asshole!" You yelled gaining the attention of a few passerby's.
"Look, we should get going," Scott stated, watching as you were getting worked up. You nodded and let Scott guide you out as you rubbed your belly to calm you down.
"So what you're not even gonna talk to me about my baby?" He asked half hurt half angry.
Your anger flared, your hormones raging. You let out a loud scoff "Who do you think you are? You left me remember. You broke up with me! You were the one that left me heartbroken! I cried for so long, waiting and hoping you'd come back! But you didn't! So no, I won't talk to you about MY baby." You stated angrily stepping towards him poking his chest.
You stood in front of him for a bit before turning on your heel and storming off Scott following after you.
You were about two meters away from Derek when you felt something wet on the inside of your leg.
"Oh shit, Scott! My water broke!" You called to him
"What but you're not due for two more weeks," He exclaimed panicking
"Yeah I realized that just get me to the hospital! " You yelled at him.
He hurried forward ready to help you when you saw Derek also moving forward.
"No. Don't you dare! Stay away from me!" You snapped at him as Scott lifted you up in bridal style and carried you away.
The last thing you saw was the hurt cross Derek's face but was replaced with determination.
You were lying on a hospital bed as they rolled you through the hallways towards a room where you would give birth to your child. You were listening to Melissa next to you explaining breath techniques to you to help reside the pain of the contractions.
"Hee, hee, hoo, hoo-" You were copying her but stopped short when you let out a scream.
You were taken into the room when you heard a commotion outside the room. You loved your baby but you just wanted to get it out of you already.
"What the hell is going on and when can I have my baby!" You screeched out
"Excuse me Miss there's a Derek Hale out here saying he's the father?" One of the nurses asked you
"Oh my god! I don't care let him in, don't let him in. I REALLY DON'T CARE JUST LET ME HAVE MY BABY! " You continued screeching.
"Calm down Y/N." Scott spoken soothingly holding your left hand.
"Shut up Scott! You try squeezing a miniature human being out of your butthole than you can tell me to calm down!"
Derek rushed in and faltered seeing Scott holding one of your hands but continued in anyways grabbing your other. You let out another scream as a contraction hit squeezing both the wolves hands.

Sweat bedded your forehead, the doctors had left and it was just you, Derek and your newborn baby girl in the room.
You were cooing to her and gazing at her lovingly.
"Derek I want to apologize for what I said earlier in the grocery store. Seeing you for the first time since you left made my hormones spike. But I want to thank you for being here and if you want to be in our baby girls life then I'm not stopping you," You sighed as you looked up at him and saw him standing away from the bed watching your baby girl.
"But that's the thing (Y/N) I don't wanna be in just our baby's life, I want to be in yours as well. Leaving is my biggest regret ever and not being there for you for your pregnancy is also another one and I promise to be there for not only the baby but but you for the rest of my life because I love you and our baby girl and I want us to be a family, " He spoke softly to you coming up to the bed you and your baby lay on.
You looked at him sighing. "I don't think I can do that Derek. You left me in a time in need. I had no one, except Scott and Melissa."
Derek's eyes flashed blue. "Is there something going on with you and Scott?"
You scoffed at him. "No there isn't Derek, but if I was that wouldn't be any of your business. You left me remember."
"I get that and I regret it with all my life, but I still love you and I still want you. I want us to be a family. I don't want to be a weekend dad, I want to be there every day of her life. I already missed your pregnancy, I refuse to miss anything else."
"I'm happy with you being in our baby girl's life. But if you want to be with me again, you're going to have to work for it and work real hard."
He looked at you with the biggest smile on his face. "I will work as hard as long as I have too to win you back."
"I think we should name her Talia Melissa Hale after your mother and Scott's for being there with me throughout the pregnancy, " You stated
