You Have An Ex From Another TV Show

You had moved to Beacon Hills from Mystic Falls just less than a year ago. You had left after finding out your ex boyfriend Damon Salvatore was still in love with his brothers' girlfriend Elena Gilbert. It truly hurt your feelings because you were in love with Damon and you thought he loved you too. Moving to Beacon Hills was supposed to be your time away from the supernatural, but turns out you moved to a town where the Beacon in Beacon Hills actually meant a beacon for supernatural.

Arriving in Beacon Hills you met Scott McCall and his friends one of them being Derek Hale. You could tell Derek was drawn to you when you met and vice versa but you wanted to stay away from him knowing what he was. You weren't dumb you knew a supernatural creature when you saw one and Derek and his friends weren't any different.
What started off with a hate relationship between you and Derek soon turned into love and you now have been dating for 8 months.

You snapped out of your thoughts when your phone starting ringing loudly. You turned to your phone and was shocked to see Bonnie Bennett as the caller ID. Why was she calling?

"Hello?" You answered confused
"(Y/N) bit of a problem," She spoke right away
"What is is?"
"Damon found out where you're staying and we haven't seen him so we're guessing he's on his way over there"
You groaned "Thanks for the heads up Bon, I'll call you later how it goes"

You knew this was coming. Even if Damon didn't love you anymore he will always care for you and vice versa so when you just packed your bags and left without telling anyone where you were going it really made his gears grind.

You sighed realising that you had to tell the pack about this or maybe you could keep it a secret from them and they'd never know? Damon can come and see you're doing completely fine than he can leave and Derek will never know. But before doing that you texted Derek telling him you weren't feeling very well so  you wouldn't be able to see him tonight and you'd call him sometime tomorrow when you were feeling better.

You heard a knock at the door and knew it'd be Damon you opened the door and sure you were Damon stood in all his pale glory wearing all black and his blue eyes piercing into you.

"Hi,"
"What're you doing here Damon?" You questioned crossing your arms.
"Are you going to let me in?" He smirked his famous smirk.
You rolled your eyes reluctant to invite Damon in but knew you couldn't keep him outside.
"Come on in Damon"
His smirk widened and he slowly took a step inside making you more anxious for this to be over and done.
"Damon if you're just here to torture me for leaving you need to go,"
"(Y/N)-" he began but was cut off by your phone ringing. You looked down and noticed Derek's name on the caller ID,  you knew you had to answer it or he'd come over.
"Give me a second Damon,"
He shrugged and began exploring the lounge room looking at all the pictures you had framed around the room since being here in Beacon Hills.

"Hey" You answered the phone
"Hey are you okay, did you want me to come over?" He asked worried
"No seriously it's fine just a cold or something I should be fine by tomorrow," You replied, you hated lying to him.
"Are you sure you don't want me to come over? I can come over. I'm gonna come over-"
"No!" You hastily replied by realised how bad that sounded.
"I mean no it's fine, I'm not feeling well and I don't feel like being in the presence of others. So I'll call you tomorrow okay? I love you." You hung up before he replied and you made things worse.

You walked back out into the lounge room and found Damon leaning against the fire mantle looking at a framed photo of you and Derek.
"Moved on huh?" He asked
"Damon you have no right to get angry, I moved on months later. You moved on whilst we were still together!"
"I loved you!" He argued
"And I don't doubt that, I loved you too! But you loved Elena more."
"Why did you leave?" He whispered
"Like I said Damon I loved you and when I found you and Elena together I knew you still loved her and always will. I couldn't stand to stay there and watch you love someone else. So I left."
"Why didn't you tell me?!" He yelled slamming the frame of Derek and you face down on the mantle.
"So you could stop me?" You yelled back
"Yes (Y/N) so I could stop you,"
"Why're you so selfish? You're allowed to leave whenever the hell you please and love someone else but the minute I do it I'm the bad guy?" You screamed at him
He suddenly sped until he was in your face "Because I'm the bad guy, I'm the bad brother, I'm selfish and I care about you! Even if we're not together I still want you around, I still want you where I can protect you! Not in a town surrounded by blood bags that can't defend themselves!"
"Well I guess that's a good thing she has me," A dark voice growled from behind you.
