~Jazz's POV~

"Louis?"

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion and continued to walk towards the house. I was still a good length away from the actual driveway, and by the way the sky started to shift into a darker color, told me that it was going to rain.

Just as the thought left my mind it started to pour like it was the end of the world itself. I was soaked within minutes, and as I looked towards the house I couldn't make out any figures anymore, which told me that Mom had invited them inside for a drink. I took a small shelter under a tree, and tried to regroup. The tree really wasn't much help, and as the rain pelted my skin like tiny needles, I started to tear up in pain.

I could barely make out anything within two feet around me, and that was saying a lot. I shaded above my eyes, but the results were the same. I had decided after a few minutes of contemplating, whether or not I should run for it, that I would. I wrapped my shirt even closer around me to avoid the cold.

I ran for my life, basically in a battleground for animals and all wildlife around me. The rain hit me harder than ever, and with not having a tree to hold it off even a little, it hurt like hell! When I passed the mailbox at the beginning of the gravel driveway I couldn't help but gawk at my soaked clothing. My shirt weighted a ton, and my jeans and shoes were just plain uncomfortable. The driveway was already halfway flooded, and my shoes were filled with mud.

Making my way up the steps towards the front doors I'd decided that I would go straight to my room to change, and then I'd see who were our guests for the evening. I slipped off my shoes, and tugged off my shirt and jeans, basically stripping before I entered the house.

Opening the door I called out for my mom, and she replied almost instantly.

"MOM?" I yelled, trudging my way towards the stairs, the cold air hitting my exposed skin harshly.

"Hey sweetie! Where've you been?" She replied, meeting my tone from the living room, she was a naturally loud person.

"I stopped at Grandpa's for dinner, it's howling cats and dogs outside!"

"Oh did you now?" She asked as if she was shocked at my choice of actions.

"Yeah... And you never told me we were having company!" I questioned from the middle of the staircase.

"When you're finished changing, come down here please!" She finished, noting the end of our conversation.

I ran up the stairs, in a complete hurry to meet whoever it was sitting in the living room. While I thought it was Louis and someone else, I highly doubted it. Niall would never give up my location, and I knew how loyal he was, he'd never break a promise. Thinking about this, my mind wondered back to Harry, and a shot of anger, regret, sadness, and sorrow hit me all at once. I couldn't help but think about everything that made me come here and leave there in the first place, and the thought of Harry yelling at me like he did, made me want to run five miles. It made me furious with energy, and thinking about it now, I'm still angry.

Shaking my head I went to take a shower, and considering that my clothes were already off, it wouldn't be that hard.Once the steaming water hit my back, I felt unbelievably grateful for electricity, and hot water. I scrubbed myself beyond clean, and after washing all of the soap away, I grabbed a towel off of a nearby hook.

Stepping out of the shower didn't go so well, the cold air hit me hard again, and busting my ass on the even colder tile floor, made me want to scream. I picked my self up, and wrapped my towel even closer around me.

I laughed at myself as I pulled open my dresser drawers in search of something appropriate to wear. I chose a white v-neck shirt, a pair of grey baggy sweat pants, and a pair of worn out Vans. It wasn't really something you should wear for a first impression, but If the couldn't except me and my comfy clothes, then screw them. One, it was cold. Two, it was raining, and Three, these were the kind of clothes a person would wear right about now.
