{Taylor POV}

"Taylor?"

"Oh my gosh"

"Taylor?? What are you- you didn't. Did you?"

"Shit"

"Fuck" the deep voiced woman next to me said

"Taylor, get out here right now"

"I'm naked mom"

"I do not care"

"I do. There are little kids around"

"Fine but once you get dressed you're getting your ass inside"

The raged mother stormed away

"Well that's my mom" I said to Laura

"She's great...great"

-----hours later-----

Laura and I were walking outside of a cafe. We tried making small talk

"I'm surprised your mom didn't throw me out of the car naked"

"Yeah well, it's not every day when you get to see a naked Laura Prepon" I chuckle

"What about her daughter?"
Laura laughed
"She was staring at your bare chest!"

"She was staring at both of us"

"Alright, truce"

"Can we take a break, my body is kind of...sore"

I saw Laura smirk from the corner of my eye

We took a seat outside the cafe

"Do you want anything else? I'm not really hungry but if you are we can split-"

"No thank you"

It was sweet of Laura to offer me food and well, her affection from last night. I was glad we were spending time together but I kind of wanted to know what we were

"I could have sworn I saw a kid, 12 years old, staring at your ass"

Laura kept trying to make conversation. Some part of it felt nice but the other felt forced and nervous

"I bet he was looking at you"
I commented back

"No he was-"

"Laura!"
I spoke too suddenly, too loudly

"Laura...can we--what are---are we--what are we doing?"
I stuttered intensely

"Um....what do you mean?"
She said clueless

"Seriouly? Do you really want me to walk away right now?"

"No...No, I just--I just don't know what to say"

"So you decide to play dumb?"

"What do you expect me to say?"

"I don't know just...something" I said softly

"Tay...last night was fun and I...I dont know...I don't know where we go from here and what to do or...I don't know"

"Neither do I"

"We gotta figure it out"

"Do we really have to?"

"I'd like to, yes" she let out with a chuckle

I was hoping Laura would go out wih me on a real date and that we could grow a relationship but I wasn't feeling very confident about the situation
