{Laura POV}
It's been a couple days since Taylor texted me, I hope she's okay. I really wish she came over that day I invited her. I bet Carrie didn't allow her to. She is always in the way of my friendship with Taylor, it's annoying and childish. I wish she would disappear sometimes.
I dropped the idea of Carrie from my mind quickly and decided to text Taylor.

Laura- Heyy

Tay- Hi

Laura- Wanna come over today? We can talk and eat ice cream, and maybe watch the show, I still haven't finished the season...

Tay- Yes! I need to get out of my house

Laura- Great. I'll see you here in 20?

Tay- Sure, maybe even 15 ;)

Laura- Then I should probably get ready. I'll see you soon

Tay- See ya babes

I put my phone down and started to put out snacks like cheese, chocolate, crackers, and some white wine.
I sit on my couch counting the minutes until she arrives. I can't wait to hold her again. And smell her and touch her and look at her. I miss her. She's so great. There's no way you couldn't miss her. She was unmissable. Everything about her was.

*doorbell rings*

Oh, crap. I've been thinking about her all this time...whoops. I walk towards the door and open it to this goofy looking dork. I smile as she smiles back. I invite her in and quickly take the chance to embrace her in my arms. She still feels the same. She still feels amazing. I release her to look down at her pink flannel pants and blank blue shirt.

"Nice fashion choice" I say smirking

"Well you called me right as I was about to go to bed" she says giggling

"Bed? It's nearly 8 o'clock yet, what are you doing in bed?"

"Well I've had some things on my mind lately so I thought if I sleep on them it'll all work out" she says very straight forward

"Things? What kind of things? Do you want to talk about any of it?" I say concerned

"No it's fine, really. But thank you for the offer"

"Well at that note, I think it would only be appropriate if I were wearing the same attire. So you make yourself comfortable as I go change" I wink at her as I leave the room

I walk up to my room and throw on a plain black shirt and sweat pants, which is much more comfortable than the tight jeans I had on before. I come down the stairs to see Tay covered in a red blanket I left on my couch from earlier. She has a plate of chocolate and cheese in her hands.

"You really take, 'Make yourself at home', literal, don't you" I giggle

"Sorry" when I heard her say that it hurt. I didn't mean to sound rude. So I immediately jump next to her and join her under the blanket.

"I didn't mean it literally. I was just kidding" I said stuffing chocolate pieces in my mouth.

"Oh, my bad" she laughed

"So what have you been up to lately?" I ask her, lying my legs on top of hers just perfectly enough so that I can see her face

"Well I've been busy with Carrie and all. I also just finished filming a project I've been working on the other week" she said excitedly

Avoiding the Carrie topic, "What project?"

"It's just a movie I've been working on"

"Thats so cool! When does it come out?" I almost fell off the couch as I said that

"I don't know actually...sorry"

"Well I'll figure it out sooner or later"

"What have you been up to?" She asked innocently

"Not much really. It's still kind of hard to get started in the morning because I still miss the whole cast and everything" I speak honestly

"I get where you're coming from. I will just think of a random memory of like you or Tash or Uzo at the randomest of times. Like this one time when we were at season 2 premiere and Uzo would not stop saying, 'Chocolate and vanilla swirl'" she said laughing

"I remember that! Everyone in the crowd would not stop freaking out over that" I said laughing "But yea, I've just been kind of hanging around over here..." I finished my thought

"Are you planning on seeing your family any time soon?" She says, trying to keep.the conversation going

"Um...I...yes. I am planning a visit down there for next week" I said nervously because I actually wasn't but I knew I should and that I eventually will

"Well tell me when you're leaving so that I get the last goodbye. How long are you planning on staying?" Taylor kept questioning

"Probably for a while...I mean I don't really have any reason to stay here, it's not like I have anyone here for me so I might as well be around people who care" I blurt out of no where

"...I care" Taylor said with the softest tone in her voice. I have never heard her sound so vulnerable before.

"I didn't mean it like that. I know you care but when I say that, I mean someone who like 'love' cares for me" I try to make things better but I keep screwing things up

"I know what you mean, its fine" she said even softer

I place my hand on her open arm, that is nice the blanket. "I'm sorry"

"It's fine, really. Let's just...watch the show or something"

"Okay" I fake a smile because I could tell hers was forced too

We sit in the peaceful silence and watch our show together. We watch about 4 episodes before Taylor fell asleep on me. Her head fell slowly on to my chest, because I was falling too. She drifted slowly and peacefully, with no care in the world. I hope I got her mind off whatever was bothering her before.
I look down at her and see her tiny features shine the brightest. I have to go visit my family now, so when I do I am definitely gonna miss her. I was kind of hoping she would say something when I said no one loved me, oh well. I've been having these weird feelings lately, like in my stomach. I don't know what it is, I think I'm sick. Family will get my mind off it so I guess it is good that I am going to visit them.
I continue to stare at Taylor as my mind drifts off on nothing. I have no thoughts in my mind and I just look at her. She's beautiful. Her warm head heats my chest like a warming fire on a cold winter day, even though it was near summer. This was a good kind of heat. It was inviting and comforting, something I have dreamed about. I slowly drowned myself into my dreams and nothing else. I fell asleep happy. Nothing but happy.
