CHAPTER 39: More Revelations

Greyson went home from Eben and Joel’s hotel room late afternoon. He felt exhausted plus the fact that his mind’s messed up. He didn’t think Morgan could do such things. She was his best friend and he can’t accept the fact that Morgan fell in love with her. He tried to remember the story Eben and Joel told him about Morgan’s plan last year but he couldn’t. He just ended up getting a terrible headache.

“Where have you been, young man?” Alexa’s voice welcomed him when he opened the front door.

“You are starting to sound like mom.” He said without even looking at his sister.

Alexa rolled his eyes and grabbed Greyson’s arm before he could even walk past her. “Seriously, where have you been? I thought you were going home last night so I waited for you but I ended up falling asleep.”

Greyson looked at her sister with tired eyes. “I’ll tell you everything, but can you let me get to my room first? I stink and I want to freshen up.” He didn’t wait for Alexa to answer and just pulled his arm away from his sister’s grasp. He basically heaved himself up the stairs until he gets to his room. He tossed his phone on his bed, removed his shirt and walked towards the bathroom.

Greyson stared at his exhausted reflection on the mirror thinking what is he gonna do now. Is he going to talk to Morgan first? Or continue on taking YN back? The latter sounds really tempting for him. Though he wasn’t really sure that he feels the four letter word towards YN, but he’s sure he likes her. You know, the like-like kind of like and not the friend-like or any other kind of like.

The exhausted Greyson found his self smiling in front of the mirror.

I didn’t know liking that dork could make me look like an idiot.

He tried to wipe the smile off his face but he remembered YN’s reaction when he said he’s taking her back. So instead of going back to the exhausted look, his smile just grew wider that even Joker’s smile can’t compete.

He suddenly wanted to see her…

But then again… he remembered YN was with Keaton last night. Greyson’s smile was wiped off instantly. Thinking about it made some twinge inside his chest and he suddenly felt the urge to punch Keaton right now. He took a deep breath and counted one to ten in the hope to calm his near-to-madness- self.

I should really get her back.

“I cannot believe that guy!” Nikki yelled.

I rubbed my temple slowly, calming my nerves. “Jerk.” I corrected her.

“I cannot believe that jerk.” Nikki repeated, lowering her voice. I looked at her and her face reddened from anger.

I can’t blame her for that. I was also fuming mad when I received those err… pictures of Greyson and Lauren. Gross pictures. Add the fact that it was the first thing I saw when I looked at my phone this morning. I was hurt. Yes. I cannot deny that fact. But the anger I’m feeling took over it. I mean, after he came into the front door and saying he’s taking back what’s his and kissing me senseless, I’ll receive those pictures? I had goosebumps all over my body and I wanted to break his face for playing with me. How dare he play with my feelings? UGH.
