"Daddy, can I go into the kitchen and get some cookies and milk? asked Kayla

(Her dad was in the Kitchen floor shooting dice with three other men.)

"Yes, Baby come in." said Kayla dad.

He held the dice while she was  walking to the refrigerator. Her mom walked pass with the laundry and headed to the basement. " James I need for you to come down here" said Kayla mom.

"What's wrong now women?"  asked James as he was coming downstairs in the basement

"James you already had some other people in here two weeks ago playing that dice game and now here you go again playing the dice game again. James I'm really getting sick and tired of it.",said Kayla mother

James kissed Kayla mother on the cheek. " Alright baby, I promise this will be the last time."

The men in the kitchen was looking at me while I had  drank my milk. My mother came upstairs behind my father and my mother grabbed my hand and we went into the family room to watch T.V. I didnt know very much at this age, but I looked up at my mother and she rubbed me and I held on to her as I was laying down on the sofa.

I hurd screaming and shouting from the kitchen  I woke mama up from her short nap. "Mama I guess daddy won."said Kayla

"I guess so sunshine"said Kayla mother

We both got from off the sofa and the three men looked like they was dissapointed to lose all of their money to my dad. I seen one of the men pull out a gun my mother took  me and put  me behind her.

" James you need to give me my mother fucking money back ." said one of the men

" Come one son, you know I won that money, and I had lost my last  pay check to you last time. This time I won fair." said James

"Just give them the money  James so these people can get from out of my house" said Kayla mother

James wasn't taking no for a answer. " How are we going to survive this week , we behind on rent and we barely have no food." 

" Baby please just give the money back ." tears start coming down her mom eyes.

One of the other men Had went to the door and stood infront of it.

" Fuck it dont worry about it" said the man with the gun

The gun went off my mother closed her eyes and open them back up. Another shot went off  I was crying " Daddy, Daddy"

"Shut that little bitch up" said one of the men. They grabbed me and picked me up I was screaming and he covered my mouth.

"Do you want me to kill you little girl?" asked the man.

"No" Kayla shook her head.

The man with the gun Slapped Kayla mom in the head  they undressed her and Had put her on the bed and start having sex with her, "Dont hurt my baby." The man had picked Kayla up and let her see her mama get raped. After the man was done.  He shot the mama in the head.

The man with the gun tossed it over to the person who had  held Kayla. " Go head and finish her."

The other two men had exited out.

"Listen I'm not going to kill you,I want you to hide in the closet  until you hear the door close then you come out." said the man

He popped two shots in the air and had ran out.I stayed in the closet  and didnt come out.  I cried and fell asleep in the closet........
