Ok, so recently I started reading this fanfic, which seems like it has every single cliché in the book in it. It inspired me for many more chapters in this book, because it has many clichés I haven't named yet!

So, in the 1st chapter, the girl was already snogging a guy she met JUST THAT DAY. And she was declaring she loved him!

If you want to write a realistic romance book, the protagonist NEEDS to have known her lover for months to years! She should not be snagging him after she's known him for a day! He might be a serial killer for all you know! And studies have shown that you have to have a crush for someone for, like, 7 months before you could love them.

And in this book, they'd known each other for a week before they did it. The next day, she was throwing up and took a pregnancy and was PREGGO'S!!! The boy proposed to her (THEY'D KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR A WEEEEEEK, PEOPLE!), and I stopped reading because it hurt to read.

^ She needed to do her research.

And THAT, my friends, is what you SHOULDN'T do with a book.
