River's POV

I watched as she climbed the tree carefully. The slight breeze rustling through her purple hair. The sunset matched her tie-dye shirt. She looked down at me with her greenish gold eyes glistening at me. I smiled at her, she smiled her beautiful smile back at me. She continued to climb. She sat down on a sturdy branch and looked at me, which meant she was ready for me to come up. I started climbing and eventually reached the branch she was sitting on. I brushed my blonde hair out of my eyes. The sun set and the moon rose over our heads. The crickets started to chirp, nearby frogs croaked. I can see why she liked being out here so much. "Jay I lo-" I was cut off by Jay. "Shhh River listen!" I did as I was told. Silence. I looked over at her, she was looking up at the sky smiling her beautiful smile. I kept staring at her until she looked at me. She looked at me too. We both leaned and pressed our lips together lightly. I looked at her afterwards and we both smiled. "You know it's not nice to stare!" She smirked before kissing me again.
