Chapter 14: The Bad Word
Rose and Sara got out of history class together that Friday and came to each other and Sara said.

Sara: okay here we go the moment of truth
Rose: let's see what all that studying have done for us
Sara: one
Rose: two
Sara/Rose: three

Sara and Rose both turns their paper around and Sara said first showing her paper.

Sara: B- yes! What did you get?
Rose: I think my teacher hates me
Sara: why, what did you get?
Rose: D+
Sara: oh... hey at least that's higher then Brittany score right?
Rose: yah... but that doesn't change the fact that Kurt and Finn are going to kill me
Sara: maybe they will understand it's just a grade right
Rose: to you it's just a grade to Kurt and Finn, let's just say you don't want to be in the same room with the two of them together
Finn: hey girls, what are you two up too?

Finn said to the girls coming over to them with Puck.

Rose: (looks nervous) uh... Nothing much just talking about girl things and boys
Sara: hey Noah guess what I got a B- on my history test
Puck: way to go kiddo (high five her and looks at the paper) looks like you can go to the hockey game with us this weekend
Sara: yay! I been looking forward to it all week, thanks Noah (hugs him) ow!

Sara said when she let go of Noah when Rose hits her on the shoulder and gives her a look she just glared at her best friend rubbing it.

Finn: come on Rose let me see what you have

Rose looks between Finn, Puck and Sara who mouth "sorry".

Rose slowly hand him the paper and he grabs it from her and she looked down and put her hands in her pocket and rocks on her feet back and forth.

Puck: what did she get?
Finn: (looks to the paper, then to the girls but mostly Rose then back at Puck) D+
Puck: oh...
Rose: but I study real hard sir, I still beat Brittany with that F+ she gets.
Finn: you know Kurt and I expect you to get better grade Rose.
Rose: (looks down) I know
Finn: look at me when I'm speaking with you
Rose: (looks up at him)

(Bell Rings)

Finn: you are lucky that we are in school hours right now and I can't deal with you now, come on we have a glee club meeting this hour

At glee club. Mr. Schue was talking about sectionals coming up in a couple of weeks. When Finn spoke up when Mr. Schue talk about getting more people to join.

Finn: well Mr. Schue you're going to need to find another member for sectionals
Mr.Schue: why?
Finn: because Rose won't be doing sectionals with us this year
Rose: (stands up and looks over at Finn who was sitting across from her sitting next to Rachel) why can't I do sectionals Finn?
Finn: I'm punishing you for your bad grade on your test, I'm suspending you from glee club
Rose: what you can't do that?! Just because I had one bad grade all of the sudden it's the end of the world!
Finn: Rose this isn't your first bad grade young lady and from all the detention you been getting that's also included
Kurt: wait detention? For what?
Rose: (to Kurt) now's not the time to answer (to Mr. Schue) Mr. Schue you can't let Finn do this! Can you?
Mr. Schue: well... Since he is team captain and also your guardian I'm afraid he can
Rose: but this is not fair! All the hard work I put for sectionals and now I suddenly can't go. Finn, why are you being such an  *****?!

Everyone in the room gasp by Rose choice of words and Mr. Schue just looked shocked and Finn said to her.

Finn: (steps forward) what did you just say to me?
Rose: (steps back hides behind Mr. Schue) n-n-nothing s-s-ir
Rachel: (holds Finn back) Finn calm down
Finn: don't tell me when to calm down Rachel! This time Rose has gone too far, come here!
Rose: no! (runs behind Kurt and wraps arms behind his neck) protect me please, he's got that I'm going to kill you look in his eye (shield her face in Kurt's shoulder)
Finn: don't listen to her Kurt! You have her wrapped around your little fingers, it's time for you to step up and tell her off
