Chapter 10 Well this is awkward (Subway meet and greet)

Sophia's POV

Yet again I was woken up by my phone for the second day running! I rolled over picking up my phone,

"Hello?"

"Hey Soph!"

"Lil what are you doing calling me this early?!?!" I moaned.

"Cuz today is going to be A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!" She screeched through the phone

"Anyway me and my dad will pick you up in an hour" she said happily

"WAIT AN HOUR!! WHAT TIME IS IT?!?" My eyes grew wide in shock.

"SOPH it 8:30 the subway meet and greet starts it an hour!" She replied 

"Oh crap! Okay bye!" I said hanging up the phone.

I jumped out of bed, quickly pulling the covers over and straightening it, before rushing into the bathroom to brush my teeth, do my make up and do my hair.

**1 hour later**

I heard a knock on the door while I was half way through my make up, "hey lily, soph's just getting ready so come in" I faintly heard my dad say. Oh crap this means we're going to be late if she's here now, I thought to myself. 

Lily's POV

"hey lily, soph's just getting ready so come in" 

"Oh okay thank you!" I replied walking through the front door. 

"SOPH, LILY'S  HERE!" Sophia's dad called up the stair as a faint voice replied

"Just a minute!" 

Her dad then disappeared into the kitchen before returning with a cup of coffee in his hands. He leant against the wall and said "I take it Sophia has told you the big news then" he said, taking a sip of his drink. 

"What news?" I asked, very confused as to what he was saying

"So she hasn't told you yet?" He replied looking just as confused as I felt. 

"Well sophi" he was cut off by Sophia running down the stairs saying hey, before grabbing my arm and turning me around to face the door. "Okay bye dad!" She said pulling me out the front door and shutting it behind us. "What was that all about!?!?" I asked 

"Oh nothing just my dad being stupid again" she nervously laughed it off.

"Oh... okay then" I said before climbing back into the car. 

What was it she wasn't telling me? We're best friends, I've known her practically my whole life. We tell each other everything, so what is it that she's hiding from me? She can say that's theres nothing all she wants but I know her and I can tell when somethings up! I can read her like a book! I thought to myself as we drove toward the subway.

Sophia's POV

Omg that was soooo close! I still feel kind of bad for hiding it from her, aspecialy as we never keep secrets from each other. This is killing me hiding it from her! I'm going to have to tell her soon. I was pulled out of my thoughts as I heard Lily's voice saying

 "I can't believe were on our way to meet Cimorelli again!!" 

"I know it's going to be amazing!" I replied trying my hardest to not show how chilled out I actually was about it. This was going to be a LONG day!!
