"What do you mean you didn't put that in the box? I opened it in the car with mom..." I said.

"The gift I put inside was a real fern plant. Not this miniature in a glass cube..." Caitlyn defended.

I looked down at the cube. The ant was shrunken down into this glass cube.

"But this is cool too." Caitlyn said as she looked at the cube.

I frowned. Then Ryan came to my mind. He must be behind this.

I pushed the thought away.

"So, how's Reese? Did you see him?" I asked my younger sister.

She looked up at me and widened her light eyes.

"I guess you'll find out one way or another." She quietly said.

"Huh?"

"Reese asked out Ada." Caitlyn said.

I felt my knees go weak. I sat down on my bean bag chair.

"And Ada said yes." Caitlyn finished.

My jaw hung open.

"Well, Ada's got a dick on her shoulders. Reese's gonna hurt her and she'll come running to me." I said.

"Mom and Dad don't know. No one knows except me, when I found Ada's phone unlocked on her desk in her room. She was texting him..." Caitlyn said.

I sighed.

"And...?"

"He asked her out and they're dating now." Caitlyn said.
