SOPHIE’S POV

Naiinis ako ngayon. Itong si Alexis, angkulit pa. Hindi alam ibig-sabihin ng PMS? LOL. Oh, I wish I can laugh out loud, but I can’t. I was playing Angry Birds, thinking those piggies were the person I hate.

I heard a knock. Binukasan ni Lex ang pinto and it’s Finn, inviting for a ‘bonding’. I’m sooo damn pissed, tapos sasabay pa ‘tong friends ko. Well… the hell – I didn’t even know if I must call them that. Si Jess na best friend ko nga eh, ginaga ako.

“Oy babe, sali daw tayo!” Lex said after sabihin ni Finn yung ‘bonding’ trip nila na ‘yun.

 He’s joking me. It’snot funny at all. Tinawag nya akong babe? Pagkatapos nyang…

Argh!

Alam naman n’yang naiirita ako ngayon. Do I seemed happy? No. Of course not.

I smirked.

“Biro lang, Sophie…. Best friend, sali tayo.” he said again, rephrasing it.

Naisip kong hindi ito time para magmaktol ko mag-isa. Walang mangyayari sa’kin dito. What am I here for ba? Again, naisip ko ang paghihiganti ko. Hindi pa ako okay. Naiinis parin ako, but I stood up, let go of my phone, then smilingly said, “Okay.”

“Chel, your turn!” Ritch said.

We are sitting on a huge picnic mat, around an empty bottle of wine near the bonfire they made. Pinaikot ni Chel yung bottle. Lahat nag-aabang kung kanino tatapat. Well, I don’t know kung ano ang magfi-feel ko kung ako ang matapatan ng bottle. Magkatapat kasi kami ni Jess… and speaking of the devil, tumapat kay Jess yung bottom part, mine is the mouth. That would mean, she’s the one who’ll be asking me.

“Truth or dare, bff?” she said.

I smirked. As if, you b*tch. “Dare.” I said.

Nagreact ang lahat. Like, “Whoah..!!”

“Okay… Sophie, let me ask you to… kiss James.”

“What???” na-shock ako sa dare na yun. Sobrang naiirita lang talaga akong sumagot sa mga walang kwentang tanong kaya dare ang pinili ko. And I’m thinking kasi na baka itanong ni Jess yung tungkol sa’min ni Lex and baka mahuli kami dahil sa mga sasabihin ko. I remembered him say, ‘The more you talk, the more it shows.’ Kung alam ko lang na ganito, edi sana nang-truth nalang ako. Eh kundi ba naman baliw tong ex-bff ko eh! She’s asking me to kiss my ex? Her boyfriend? The hell!

“Why? It’s just a kiss. I mean… You said naka-move on ka na. It’s just a kiss without any meaning kung ganon nga, diba?”

“I won’t do that, Jess. Don’t be stupid!” *pause* “Not in front of my boyfriend!” Tama! Pangit tignan kung iki-kiss ko ang ex ko sa harap ng bf ko, diba? Like, ang galing kong mag-isip ng excuse. I’m so smart talaga. I’ll win, with Lex by my side. Safe ako! LalalaLala…. ^^

“I didn’t say to kiss him on the lips. On the cheek will do. Why? Takot ka? Or baka naman hindi mo kaya dahil hindi ka pa talaga better.”

Duhh??? Ayaw talaga nyang patalo. Luka-luka na yata talaga. On the cheeks? No way parin noh! Okay, I’m not better pa nga. You all know that naman. But I must not let it show. “I’m not takot, okay? I’m not doing that! I won’t…” come on, say the word, Sophie. “…kiss him.”
