In 1987, after Terry hurt his shoulder during a crash at Darlington, Marla and her husband Marty were babysitting Terry's kids. Marty stayed home to take care of Faron, Kristy and Natalee, but Justin went to school. Marla and Kim were at the therapy worrying about Terry, and Marla's therapist husband helps out with Charlie Waters way back in 1979 as he was injured his left knee during the preseason game for the Dallas Cowboys against the Seattle Seahawks.
On Aug. 16, Marla, Maverine, Lynn and Gwynn were in Michigan for a big stop and visit Huey Lewis. Marla had her last touring scheduled in L.A. two days prior. Huey visit Cecil Gordon, the crew member of Dale Earnhardt, and eventually Tim Richmond before the race.
After Terry won at North Wilkesboro in the fall, the reaction of the Bonnie and Clyde segment has made after the Charlotte race for Marla and Terry. The clip was showing from the Marla and Maverine show later on. Marla has a fine for $2,000 dollars for punching a cameraperson, not on real life, but a character life.
