On Apr. 7, 1984, Lynn, Gwynn and Maverine were dancing into a song called "I Want a New Drug" by Huey Lewis and the News, and all of the girls drank beer and rowdy with the guys. Marla, who was pregnant with her second child, is not attending. Tim Richmond won the race the next day.

On May 12, Marla was at Fresno and the rest of the girls are in Nashville. After Terry Labonte and Rusty Wallace were talking, Dick Brooks and Richard Petty had a feud going as Lynn puts in the jukebox for the Vern Gosdin song "I Can Tell By The Way You Dance."

In December of 1984, Marla, who gave to her second child Natalee Lynn on Sept. 9, was there to support her friends Maverine, Lynn and Gwynn. Marla was on the Maverine Christmas show with Terry, who is now a champion, alongside Ralph Sampson, the 7'4 Houston Rocket man.
