Chris realized that Calix tricked them to get down the ship so that he could get the ship out of the cave without any interruptions.

"Uh...Chris, I think it's better to get out before he blows this cave up.", Ryan pulled Chris and they both started to run. They both heard the sound of the thrusters increasing and they ran even faster.

"God, I really wanted to see how he controls the weapon system!", Ryan said, running alongside Chris.

"Ryan, seriously?"

"Dude, you haven't seen the things I saw on that ship. Damn, that was freaking cool!"

Chris ignored the enthusiastic scream of Ryan and he focused on running out of the cave because the sound of the ship was getting closer. He looked ahead. They were close to the exit.

"We are almost there.", Chris breathed out.

Calix found the vulnerable walls, it was right next to the entrance of the cave. That wall had no rocks like the rest of the cave, it was a natural barrier that was created due to the heavy snow on the outside.

"Yep, that's where I hit.", he mumbled to himself.

Swiping the bluechart aside, he tapped the codes for engaging the Photon Blasters of the ship. He ignited the engines, moving the ship forward to flick the wings to get rid of the ice that had formed in the gutter that looked like feathers on the wings. Before aiming for the vulnerable wall, he opened the thermo-map to see if anyone was inside the cave. There were two thermal signatures, Ryan and Chris. But they were outside the cave now, still running but slowing down due to their heavy breathing.

"Here I come.", Calix sang and he started to draw and tap patterns to drive the ship forward while targeting the icy wall to get blasted by the Photon Blasters. Two small shutters slided open on the front body of the ship, revealing the Photon Blasters. Locking the target, flying the ship forward in half speed, Calix punched the shoot codes in and a booming ray of beam shot out of the Photon Blasters, hitting the fixed target.

Ryan and Chris turned back, slowly stopping on their tracks to look back as they heard the thundering blasts of the Photon Blasters repeatedly hitting on the wall next to the entrance that they just ran out. Chris winced a little at the ice shattering with an ear-splitting thunderous boom.

"Woah!", Ryan laughed in amusement and jumped up and down in excitement as if his favorite soccer team had hit a goal.

They saw a stark white beam hitting on the hard surface of the icy wall, breaking through it. Within seconds, the whole surface melted and was blasted away, leaving an enormous hole there. The loud rumbling of the ice breaking echoes throughout the snowy landscape and followed by that there was an absolute hush.

Chris and Ryan took a few steps forward to peer at the enormous hole in the cave but they halted in their tracks when they heard a bone-chilling mix of a roar and deep hum from the cave. The sound was getting closer and Ryan's anticipation increased. In the darkness of the cave, there came a majestic figure flying towards the opening. Ryan's mouth fell apart in complete astonishment when he saw the real wake of the ship. The whole ship had long, narrow silver linings, from the front to the back , the wings' feather-shaped gutters navigating according to the wish of the pilot and each of those feathers had striking silver lines.

The silver linings were a striking contrast to the ebony black exterior of the ship. The ship was intimidating, striking fear in anyone's heart, the roar of the ship was dreadful and shiver- inducing. It was a monster's wake, that was kept hidden in the dark for so long, longing to be ignited and soared through the air, tearing the air apart in its wake.
