Life. Life is such a beautiful thing, fellas. But, at the same time, it could be a labyrinthine path to walk in. Or maybe it's the way that it's supposed to be. But, the million dollar question here is, what is life?

Being born?

Or being alive?

Or being a cute stray puppy, hungry all day, bullied by some big dogs?

Or being a law abiding officer who bores people with a self righteous speech?

Or being a famous celebrity who can't enjoy a peaceful 'Me time' with all the paparazzi hiding behind the bushes like some sort of terrorists ready to shoot the victim?

Or being a lousy part-time pizza delivery guy who is having a hard time managing studies and money problems even though your dad is a filthy rich global entrepreneur? Just like this one.

"Ryan, if I hear one more complaint about you not delivering on time, I'm sacking you.", the owner of the Pizza Time, one of the best pizza spots in Brooklyn, scolded the young man with natural blonde hair and stealing blue eyes. "You know Mrs. Coleman is our regular customer and she has never complained about our services until you joined here."

"Mr. Frank, I had my reason this time. A school kid with a skateboard-"

Before Ryan could explain his reason for the late delivery, Mr. Frank, who was steaming like a teapot, interrupted him, "I don't wanna hear your lame excuses, kid. If you want this job, you better be on time. Now, go and take your order. If you're gonna stand here and continue your stories, you're gonna be late again."

Ryan had to force a hard smile so that he wouldn't roll his eyes at his employer's cold interruption and for calling him a kid'. He walked out of the room while mumbling, "Alright, next time, if I see a kid on a skateboard on my way, I'll just run him over so that some hungry old lady won't snap at you."

Mr. Frank didn't hear what his not-so-favorite employee ranted out in a low volume, "What's that?"

"Nothing, nothing. Have a great day, sir.", Ryan answered back with a fake smile and went to the kitchen of the restaurant to collect his next order. The weekend just started and he was already starting to hate it. He could have gone out with his best friend Jane but he decided to work the weekend so that he could get some extra pay.

Collecting the orders from the kitchen, he exited the restaurant through the side exit. He placed the pizza boxes in his delivery case and started his bike. He was delivering the order at the right place and at the right time. Some people were kind enough to give him extra tips, some just shut the door on his face after receiving the order. He went back to the restaurant after finishing his work, he lazily changed into his normal clothes while thinking about the awful day he just had. He left his workplace after receiving his pay for that day. He was on his way back home, with his hands in his hood's pockets, his face holding that usual tiredness after that long day at work.

The walk back home was full of thoughts for him, thoughts about his life that he thought would be so easy during his childhood.

"What am I doing with my life? I could just be under my father's shadow, take over one of his companies and not worry about my rent, college fee and daily expenses but my smartass thought that turning down his care and offer is a good idea. Yeah, he has completely changed ever since mom died and I just hate him for moving on so quickly, marrying some bratty chick who's only with him for his money and fame, but still, sometimes, days like this just make me rethink my life choices."
