Hailee Steinfeld is a pretty successful doctor. She always enjoyed helping people recover from the brink of death and healing them, it was a no-brainer for her to become a doctor and surgeon. Hailee is good at her work, but her friend/roommate would say she is too much into her work to the point where she has little semblance of a social life. Her friend Florence took it upon herself to set up Hailee on a blind date with a guy she knows from the school days that she's kept in contact with. All Florence had to do now was to tell Hailee that she was going on a date.

"Haiz, you're free today, yes?" her roommate asks.

"For now, why?" Hailee responds.

"It's just that I've set something up for you to do," Hailee's roommate says.

"What're you up to?" Hailee asks with narrowed eyes.

"It's not what I'm up to. It's what you'll be up to," Hailee's roommate answers. Hailee doesn't reply and that gives her roommate room to continue.

"Alright. I may have set up a blind date with you and somebody I know, and I think they'll be good for you, you work too much and you need someone in your life," Hailee's roommate says.

"Florence," Hailee groans.

"Don't groan at me missy. We both know I'm right when I say you're too much into your work. Even when you're not needed at the hospital, you're always writing up papers for them," Florence says.

"What I do is important Florence, what I do helps people and I don't have enough time for a stable social life," Hailee says.

"I know that Haiz. It's the reason why I set this up. You need someone other than me to keep you company, you need someone to look forward to seeing other than me. I want you to be happy with someone other than me. Please, go to this date and see how it goes," Hailee couldn't help but hear how passionate her friend is about this date.

"Fine, I will go on this date. Where is this date located and what time do I need to leave?" Hailee asks, giving in.

"You don't need to be ready for another couple of hours, but it wouldn't hurt to start getting a few things done now. We both know how long it can take to get ready sometimes," Florence answers.

It was almost time for the date. Florence had not been exaggerating when she mentioned Hailee's time to get ready was long. It is almost time for her to leave if she wants to get to the date on time. Hailee was in her car when her phone started ringing. Hailee groaned. She already knew who would be on the other side of the call without having to look at the caller's I.D.

"Hailee speaking," she says. Hailee couldn't help but feel frustrated. Though she wasn't showing it, she was looking forward to seeing who Florence was trying to set her up with, and now her boss and ruined it by calling.

"We need you to come in, a guy got into a serious accident, he's stable for now but we could use your help doctor," Hailee's boss says. Hailee herself sighs knowing she can't say no to someone in need.

"I'll be there soon," Hailee says. She thumps her head on the steering wheel after ending the call. At least she knew to keep her doctor's attire in the car in case of emergencies like the one that's just popped up. The only plus side that Hailee could see is that there was no mention of surgery. Hopefully, they just need me as a nurse today. Hailee then starts her car.

Hailee grumbles as she exits the changing rooms. She's shed her dress and is now wearing the typical white doctor's coat and wearing not too fancy clothes and shoes.
