Friends?

"Natasha, what are you doing?" I asked as she went through my closet.

"Looking for a dress." she groaned as clothes flew out the door.

The sound made me tingle, but I respectfully kept myself together. Working in the Avengers Tower and being on the team is definitely bad for my hormones. Being bi-sexual in said environment is absolutely horrible. I'm surrounded by walking sex at every corner. Natasha, Maria, Wanda, Okoye ... I'd let that woman beat my ass, and I only met her once. Then you add the men: Tony, Clint, Steve, Bucky, Thor, Brucie Bear, T'Challa .... Sam! It's terrible! Then you add in the fact that I've been celibate for over two years now, my libido is in shambles right now, and mad at me.

"Why are you looking for a dress in my closet?" I asked, still confused.

Natasha just barged into my room five minutes ago and went straight for my closet. We are good friends ... which is why I keep my tingles to myself. I get tingles for just about every single resident in this building.

"Because we're going out." she said.

"Who's going out? You have more than enough dresses in your closet."

"No, you, Maria, and myself are going out." she said, turning to look at me.

"Why are we doing that? Since when?" I demanded.

"Since you haven't gone out since you got here. I wanna go out, and so does Maria, but nobody else wants to."

"I don't want to." I argued.

"Yes, you do."

"No, I really don't. I wanna stay in my sweats, eat chocolate, and drink too much wine." I insisted.

"Come on, you haven't gone to any of our group hangouts since you arrived a few months ago. You always close yourself off on weekends, and you're miserable." she said, walking over to me.

"I'm not miserable."

"Andi, you're sitting in the dark with a bottle of wine and a full jar of Nutella." she argued.

"Friday dinner." I smiled.

"Nope, we're gonna go have dinner just us girls, and then we're gonna go dancing. I know a very discreet place we can go, and people won't be all over us." she said.

"I don't know if I wanna go to a discreet place you know of." I argued.

"Stop being mean and wear this." she placed a black garment bag on the bed, and I knew exactly which dress it was.

Tony got it for a mission and insisted that I keep it. Short and copper, which plays well off my caramel skin tone, thin straps, and tight. The dress definitely shows off every curve without showing too much skin. Before she grabbed them, I knew what black heels she was going to grab.

"Natasha ..."

"Let's go out!" she pouted.

"I don't want to." I said as I got up to look at the jewelry.

"You sure." She smirked, pointing at me.

"Well ... I guess I can join you ..."

"Yes!"

"For just a little while." I quickly added.

"Whatever, go shower and get ready." she smiled as she left my room.

As I showered, I thought about my time here. The past eight months have really changed my life, but I've noticed things here too. Like how touchy-feely everyone is with everyone or the little subgroups that form within the group. Tony/Bruce, Steve/Bucky, Steve/Natasha/Bucky, Sam/Wanda, Sam/Maria/Wanda, Natasha/Maria, Tony/Maria/Bruce, Sam/Wanda/Bucky, and they'll just randomly disappear. I'm not entirely stupid butttt no one has mentioned it, and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, so I keep my assumptions, and suspicions, to myself.
