Ellie's POV:

After the impromptu phone call with Rain last night I finally ended up falling asleep with a small smile on my face.

I opted to stay on the couch so I wouldn't disturb Lisa by climbing back into the bed and also because she's somewhat of a cuddler.

I can't sleep while being touched. It feels restricting and I have just never been able to handle someone's arms around me while I sleep.

"Wakey wakey Ellie." Lisa's voice woke me up. I felt her pinch my cheek to be annoying and when I moved to smack her hand she moved and I ended up hitting my own face.

I groaned as Lisa and Rosie's laughter filled the air that was once peaceful only moments ago.

I sat up rubbing my slightly reddened cheek and glared at them.

"Oh come on love. We let you sleep as long as we could." Rosie uttered, still giggling at me.

"Yep! Up we get now Williams." Lisa said, grabbing my hands and pulling me to my feet.

I didn't fight her on it but continued to glower at the two women as I wiped the sleep from my eyes.

"What time is it?" I asked groggily. I raised my arms above my head to stretch and let out a loud yawn.

"11 AM. You'll get over the jet lag in a few days. Cars coming to pick us up in an hour." Lisa answered.

Rosie took a step out from behind Lisa and handed me a cup of tea. I eagerly took it from her, suddenly excited to have a proper cup of English tea.

"Have your tea then off you get to freshen up and make sure your bags are packed." Lisa said, tapping my backside playfully.

I smiled and took a sip of my drink as I walked past her.

I have missed being around Lisa everyday. She is always so motivated and in turn that rubs off on other people. That's why she is already a Vice captain at Arsenal and England.

I quickly showered and changed into the England trackies they sent ahead for us to wear. I dried my hair and tied it up into a messy bun on the top of my head not really worrying too much about how I looked seeing as I'd be spending the next couple hours in a car.

When I made it out of the loo, Rosie and Lisa were already changed into their matching England gear and sitting on the couch having a chat and drinking more tea. When they noticed me enter the room they both looked at me with smiles on their faces.

"Mate, are Americans as good looking as Rosie is making them out to be?" Lisa said as I plopped down on the couch between the two women.

"I don't know. I haven't noticed a difference." I frowned at Lisa. Rosie scoffed and I turned and looked at her, bewildered by her outburst.

"That's because you haven't been looking. Too distracted I say." Rosie said with a sly grin on her face.

My frown deepened as I tried to process what she just said.

"Oh! Lady Williams is distracted! By what?" Lisa said, placing her mug on the table in front of us, looking at me expectantly.

"By who." Rosie corrected with her eyebrows raised as she took a sip from her cup.

This conversation had turned me on my head before I even had a chance to participate.

"By who!" Lisa exclaimed, grabbing my arm and shaking it aggressively.

I turned to Rosie and glared at her.

"I don't know what you're on about." I answered sharply. Rosie grinned at me in response.
