Ellie's POV:

"Oh my god! It's Lady Williams!" A familiar voice squealed as I arrived in the LAX terminal. I swung my head around to see Rosie standing by the baggage carousel with a wild grin on her tanned face. The last time I saw her was a little over a year ago seeing as she hasn't made it to England camps because of a knee injury. She is just starting back in squad training with the club team.

The first thing I noticed was the small hint of smile lines forming on her face. She must really be enjoying her time here. When our eyes met she curtsied and I quickly made my way over to her and shoved her lightly.

"Don't call me that." I laughed then grabbed her arm and snapped her back into a bone crushing hug.

"I've missed you golden girl." She said squeezing me against her just as tightly. I laughed at the nickname and rested my chin on her shoulder.

"I've missed you too Tag." I answered back sweetly.

I really have missed her. She was like a big sister to me. In my first International camp she took time out of her free periods to help me feel comfortable and safe there. I guess I grew on her too because she asked to be roommates with me every time we were at camp together. She's always been there for me and has treated me like a part of her family since the day we met, without any conditions.

"Alright, we are English! Pull yourself together. Emotions aren't our thing." She joked and pulled away from me, fixing her shirt. I rolled my eyes at her with a smile and adjusted my carry on bag back up onto my shoulder.

"Lets grab your bags then we can get going to your flat, or as americans call it, apartment." Rosie said walking over towards where the bags were slowly trickling out onto the carousel.

"Thanks Tag but this is all I have." I said, shrugging my shoulder with the carry-on bag I brought with me. Rosie's eyes bugged out of her head and her mouth fell open.

"You moved overseas, away from home and all you brought was one bag?" She said in shock. I nodded my head at her.

"That's all I need." I smiled back.

"Girl! How do you expect to fill the nice ass apartment you've rented with, let me guess, three outfits?" She said walking back over to me furrowing her perfectly shaped eyebrows together.

"I'll be in mostly training gear." I shrugged. "And when I'm not at practice I'll be home on my couch reading my books." I said holding up the kindle that was in my hand.

Rosie frowned at me again and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Oh, I will be having none of that. You will be getting the real American experience and I guess that will start with a trip to an American shopping mall." She answered. She took my free hand in hers and pulled me out of the airport to her car.

"Yeah, yeah, another time love. I am so tired. I just want to collapse in my bed." I said following her.

"Okay Goldie. But I will be picking you up for practice tomorrow, then we will go shopping after." She said unlocking her car and climbing into the driver's seat. I smiled and threw my bag in the back seat, sitting next to her in the passenger side.

Rosie started the drive into downtown L.A. While blasting music. It took me a moment to relax into my seat because I forgot about the different driving rules here. The 'driving on the other side of the road' thing here freaks me out so I have no clue when I will be getting my license here, if at all...

After about thirty minutes we pulled into a private underground parking garage and Rosie parked her car in a spot labeled 1261.

"Up we get then!" Rosie said, climbing out of the car. I grabbed my bag and followed her out of the garage and into an elevator that required key card access. Rosie pulled said keycard out of her purse then placed it on the scanner until she heard a beep. With a smile she handed it to me as the elevator doors opened.
