From shores of earth the heroes stare
To see if flames their friends had dared
And lived to tell the tale that day
Or if they both by king were slayed.
And skies with heroes brightly filled
By sight of flames themselves were stilled
As ships did crash from up above
Into the oceans rushing flood.
But still they allies fail to see
A fact for which they're very grieved.
And last does fall no sign of friends
They both now think have met there end
And heroes cry and even league
A solemn moment silent heed
For pair who saved the whole earth
By dint of love for which they hurt.
And long that silence then did reign
Until they heard a voice that deigned
A song that seemed so old but sweet
As though a pair again had meet.
And up the crowd their eyes did turn
As sight that's strange the action earned
Across the moon a maid and man
With wings in flight and holding hands...
