Kat's P.O.V
It has been exactly two months, three days, tweleve minutes and fifty-six seconds since school endded and i was going insane from bordom.
Dan suggested to get a summer job or something, even though it wasn't summer. I laughed and turned him down.
I should have taken him up on the offer.
This house was getting more boring by the second.
A knock on the door broke me out of my thoughts. I glanced at the door as Dans head poked through.
"Gotta second?" I nodded and he walked in. "Get dressed"
"Why?"
"I wanna go for a walk or run. I'm bored"
"Go by yourself"
"Please?" He asked giving me the puppy dog look.
"Fine"
"Meet me outside" He said and walked outside.
I walked towards my closet and grabbed the first thing i saw.
Running down the stairs, i saw Dan waiting patiently outside. Even from a far i could tell he was distracted. As i got closer, he smiled at me. I could tell he didnt wanna talk about it so i didnt ask.
"Ready?" I nodded and we shifted into our wolves.
Follow me
I followed behind Dan as he ran, going deeper into the forest.
I dont know how long we ran for. Probably few hours, before stopping at a near lake.
Shifting back, we quickly changed into our spare clothes and sat down with our feet in the water.
"Nice day isnt it?" Dan asked randomly.
"Okay what is it" I demanded
"What?"
"You've been acting strange." I said "Spit it out already"
"Its nothing"
"Dan..." I warned.
"Fine, i was trying to wait for the right time but you wont stop till you know" Dan suddenly stood up, grabbing my hands, pulling me up with him.
He smiled nervously at me before getting on one knee.
My eyes went wide when i realized what was happening.
"Kathrine Pride" He said huskly, pulling out a small box and opening it. Inside was the most gorgeous ring i've ever seen. "I've known you my whole life and every minute i've spent with you i've falling for you even more. I couldn't have asked for a better mate, girlfriend or Luna. I can't imagine my life without you now that your in it. I vow to always love you like i did when i first realized who you were to me. I vow to always protect and put you first and always admit im wrong even when im right, because you hate being wrong." I laughed. "If you let me i vow to always cherise our moments together like its our last" He took a deep breathe. "Kathrine Pride, will you do me the honours of becoming Kathrine Redford?"
