~~* Sierra's POV *~~

Sierra strolled in the street with her phone in her left hand and a bottle of water in the right. Her eyes glued to her phone., Sierra took a sip of water. So far, this was the route that Sierra took to walk to the park for a jog. She walked about a mile ahead of the park and halted once she reached the location. Locking her phone, she placed it in her jacket pocket. A travertine insert path with natural grass led the way to the main door. Purple Coneflowers touch the travertine lining the walls, forming a beautiful light purple border around it. The main door was as tall as the building itself. One panel was wooden, and the other was a fixed transparent glass. Sierra recalled her mother mentioning something about green design. The massive glass panels must be one of the elements her mother had to implement. The structure looked like a double-story building. Sierra peered through the glass door but could only see the furniture silhouette in the distance. She tried pushing the wooden panel, but it did not budge. Pulling her phone out of her pocket, Sierra called her mother.

"Mom, I am here. But the door is locked."

"Oh, let me open it for you."

Sierra heard a beep near the door, and it slid open. Sierra frowned in confusion.

"Did the door open on its own?"

"Yeah, I had a remote-controlled door installed. The system does not have your face saved in it. Otherwise, it would have unlocked automatically by face recognition."

"I have to say, I am impressed."

"You have just seen the entrance. Wait till you see the interior."

Ruby hung up, and Sierra smiled at her mother. She knew Ruby was a capable interior designer slash decorator. Sierra walked through the door, and it slid closed behind her. She noticed a painting on the right with two doors across each other. Sierra stepped closer to the painting and observed the strokes of different paints. The door on her right was ajar. It seemed to be the powder room with a marble sink and travertine floors. The faucet hung straight and thin from the ceiling. The door straight across led to a study room or an office. An office table with a brown leather chair sat in the center. LED lights in the layered travertine walls lit the room brightly. The ensuite seemed to be following the travertine pattern with black sanitary wear. A glass doorway opened within the room and led to the garden outside. In the hallway, an incredible floating cantilevered staircase hung with cable handrails on the left. On the right, a handrail was build into the travertine, illuminated by LED lights. The glass walls on the right displayed a Japanese-inspired Zen garden with a Koi pond outside. The glass door in the study must lead here. A small tree stood in the center with a keyhole pouring water into the pond.

As Sierra walked ahead, she noticed light dancing on the floor, but the floor was dry. She looked up and noticed water on the topmost level. The ripple effect on the floor she stood got created by the water pumped to the glazing on the second floor. Sierra walked further towards the kitchen on the left. The kitchen floor had a huge bit of glazing that showed the basement. Sierra noticed someone moving underneath. She saw Ruby waving at her, who was standing next to a wine wall. The kitchen had a center island with a white porcelain finish and an induction system. Three circular chandeliers hung above the island, enlightening the room. The height of the lights changed by pulling them down. Its light was reaching the basement as well.

The wall behind the island looked plain, but a hidden door led to a secondary kitchen. Both walls had cabinets and marble counters with a sink and a gas stove. A glass door opened at the farther end and led to a Barbeque area. The travertine wall on the left side of the kitchen had insets decorated with a few white adornments. A textured marble dining table with grey leather chairs stood before the island. Lights similar to the chandelier lights above the island located above the dining table. The living room on the right ornated with a stylish sofa with white and grey cushions. A massive TV on top of a gas fireplace covered the porcelain wall. A glass door behind the sofa wall slid open to the Zen garden with an outdoor dining table.
