Chapter 15: Link Of Doom

"Today's concert was so tiring!" Jaxon uttered as he slumped on the couch.

"All thanks to our beloved Tiana," Aurora said and unlocked her phone. "She did a good job. I saw her posts in the B4U account and hats off to her for hyping up the fans so much! They were so excited today right off the bat, even before we started performing."

"She is putting her fangirling skills very efficiently then." Davian smiled at Tiana.

"Told you guys. I got the best person for this job." Jaxon grinned proudly, and Tiana laughed lightly, feeling a little embarrassed after getting compliments from her favorite band.

"All credits can't go to me. Y'all performed with so much energy. Especially you, Aura." Tiana's eyes lit up, mesmerized. "I don't know how to explain it. Like you always shine, but today, it was a different kind of shine. All the other fans are commenting about it online as well. They are all wondering about your new haircut and style."

Aurora chuckled. "It's just seventeen hitting me. Nothing else."

"I still can't get used to Aura's short hair," Jaxon commented. "It looks amazing, trust me. But Aura looks way too different. Don't you agree, Davian?"

Davian became a little awkward but managed to give out a stiff reply, "A little, yeah. But she is still Aura."

"Either way, I will need to make a post about it. The fans are going crazy about Aura's transformation," Tiana let out with excitement.

"Sure, go ahead," Aurora agreed, her eyes glued to her phone screen.

Declan looked at Aurora, who was typing something with a smile on her face. "Aura, not to be nosy, but you have been smiling at your phone ever since we got here."

All eyes fell on Aurora, who just shook her head with that constant smile lingering on her lips. "Nothing. I was just replying to Kylen. He sent a few memes."

Jaxon and Declan immediately glanced at Davian, who had a blank look on his face. Declan and Ariel didn't have the time to talk with Auvian separately but they would tonight—at least, that's what they planned.

"Kylen?" Jaxon scoffed. "What about Kiara? I thought you chatted with her often?"

Aurora and Davian exchanged a look at that instant. They remembered the Kiara fiasco between Jaxon and Declan, which could almost break the band if they weren't smart. Since then, Aurora maintained a bit of distance from Kiara and ended up getting closer to Kylen instead. After the rivalry ended, Kylen became a sweet person—at least to Aurora.

"We do chat," she responded. "But Kylen became a close friend of mine. It just happened naturally due to our regular chatting."

Declan arched an eyebrow. "How come we never knew you guys became that close? I thought it was normal friendship."

"Oh, Davian knew about it and he had no pro—" she stopped midway and corrected her sentence with a bit of confidence, "We are close friends, right? Similarly, Kylen is also a close friend of mine because I have known him for as long as I have known you guys. I don't think it should create any problem since the rivalry ended."

"Speaking of rivalry, I really wanted to know how it ended," Tiana chirped in. "Please tell me the story."

"Oh, right." Ariel glanced at Aurora with excitement. "Even I am interested to know that story."

"Well, nothing much," Aurora started speaking. "It's just that, I requested everyone to end the rivalry and they did."

Tiana and Ariel rolled their eyes.
