(Arc 2) Chapter 15

Chapter 15: The God-Pleasing Martial Warrior

Since Arc 2 will take a very long time to finish, I will include some scenes on what's happening in the present time.

"And turns out that Wei Wuxiang has been..." You've been having tea with your father, Jun Wu for over an hour already. He was smiling everytime you ramble about your experiences in the world you currently reside in

"What about the very first time you woke up in that world?" He rested his cheek on his hand, very interested in what you were about to say

"Hmmm....well one things for sure is that i was kept inside some pocket dimension..for a year i guess and there's my first friend on that world who acted as my guardian...his name was Hugo! And when it was time for me to go out to that world i met all sort of friends and slowly learned about myself but..." you sighed "I still didn't got my memory back, but that's what I'm working on now!"

"And what happened next?" He slowly moved his teacup in circular motion before taking another sip "I met Neji or should i say Eyojin as his birth name! He's the God of Cosmos and my second friend, he had a stubborn streak on him but-" Jun Wu asked "Did you two fight?"

"I mean...we went through all sorts of adventures with Joshua who's now known as Josh. Those two ascended with my help, they were around my age when i met then papa, they were around 200 like me and..."

As you went on with your rant, Jun Wu's eyes moved to  the table then to your fingers. On your left hand and right finger, he saw a shiny silver ring. Which he doesn't remember seeing during your reunion a few days ago.

His eyes narrowed after realizing the meaning of a ring on the right finger and his cough made you immediately stop talking

"Dear, who perhaps gave you that ring?"

"Ring? What ring?" you looked down on your hands and saw the ring, almost spilling your tea in shock "Wha...i actually never noticed it! Its so lightweight i thought nothing was on my fingers!"

You got a closer look at the ring and it was crafted with something more than just silver, a person could easily tell the difference between a silver and another mineral used for jewelry. You have a gut feeling this ring is not made out of silver at all.

It had a very nice design, you adored the red gem that was shaped like an eye. "It looks so expensive and pretty...i don't remember buying such ring" you continued to stare at the new ring that magically appeared on your finger

It was lightweight yet it fits your finger measurement, and it was placed...."Dear, do you know what a ring on the fourth finger means?" He was staring through your soul

"Y-yes..." you can feel Jun Wu was displeased "I swear papa i really don't remember who and where and when i got this!" You raised your hands in defense, letting the sunlight hit your ring and sparkle, irking Jun Wu more.

He sighed and pressed his temple "Alright i understand, meeting is dismissed. Be back on dinner time" He stood up and left just like that, leaving you confused on the table

"Is...he..." you stared at Jun Wu's figure slowly disappearing to the halls "Mad..?" you scrunched your nose and thought of Jun Wu possibly calling a meeting just to find the one inserting a wedding band on your finger like it was regular jewelry

Remembering his words before during the tea time: "Dear, you are a crown-princess, you should already know by now that politics and marriage are no joke shen it comes to you."

Jun Wu was indeed, irritated, to know someone pulled a stunt like that. He was worried and suspicious while you were carefree and liked the ring

"Hmmm..." you looked at the ring one more time before letting out a sigh and looked out of the window, in deep thought "I still wonder....how did i live my life...800 years ago...?"
