Shinobu Kocho's POV
"Thank you for the ride Giyuu San!" He dropped me in front of my house and I waved him goodbye, I did not expect him to wish me a goodbye but he waved. I went inside the house and was welcomed by Kanao.
"I was worried sick!" she was in tears... Now I feel bad for her...
"Shinobu San! Where did you run off to???" Aoi gives me a hug which is followed by Kanao. "Kanae is not feeling good... Can you check on her?"
I nodded as I went to her room, I knew what was wrong with her. Giyuu San told her that they should break up and she might be still on that
"Onee chan!" I opened the door to see Kanae in front of the mirror, she had puff eyes and I did not like to see that...
"I'm guessing Tomioka San told you..." I haven't heard her calling him 'Tomioka' since the day they started dating...
"Yes..." I did not say anything else, I went up to her and just hugged her. "I'm sorry..."
"Why Shinobu? You did not do anything wrong" I was never good at hiding my emotions until I was 11, I learned it from Kanae, well not completely but yes. She would always smile even when she was in trouble... And there she goes again, smiling to hide her pain...
I just sat there with her not saying anything. I felt Kanao and Aoi peeking in through the door
"Come in"
"What happened to you Kanae-San?!" Aoi was always worried about us, our health, mental and physical. She is more of a motherkind than Kanae herself
"Me and Tomioka San broke up, but it's fine, he had a good reason" Good reason? What did Tomioka San tell her? I heard Kanae's phone ring, it was Shinazugawa, I'm pretty sure Giyuu told him... "Let me take the call girls" She went to the balcony
"Kanae-san is better with Shinazugawa San in my opinion!" Maybe Aoi was right...
"And Tomioka San's happier with you than with Kanae-San" She was right too...
Wait what? I felt my cheeks red. I heard Aoi and Kanao giggling and I just looked away
"I'm going out to get fresh air" Onee San came in and she went straight to the bathroom, we left to give her some privacy
"You should tell him" Aoi spoke... Was she talking to me? "You are quite obvious that you like him"
"He liked me back... Don't ask me how I know it but I don't think he likes me now too..."
"How will you know that he lost his feelings towards you if you don't tell him?" Kanao had a point, I am not surprised that she and Tanjiro are dating. "I'm not asking you to call him now and tell him, you can take your time"
Kanao was never mine or Kanae's blood, Aoi wasn't either but they are a lot like us... Their personality, Kanao got Kanae's looks and Aoi kind of have mine... We are not even related...
"Thank you Kanao, you too Aoi" I just smiled at them
"See! She never denied the fact that she likes him!!" Yeah, Aoi spends a lot of time with Kanae, I just smiled, again and went to my room
I sat at my desk and I got a notification from Tomioka San
