Jakku has always been extremely smart for his age, but his achievements have always been overshadowed by his quirklessness.
He might seem to be a serious, overly critical, and strict guy who rarely smiles and tries to make a point of being as serious as he can be, but deep down, he is someone who cares, and he is motivated to protect everything and everyone so that no one else has to go through what he did.
