Lacey's POV

I stopped suddenly when I heard my sister's phone ring. I looked at her and she gave me smile. She mouthed "One minute" before taking the call. She walked away from me and started talking to whoever it was. I waited for a while but then I got tired so I went in without her. I saw Ryder downstairs with my brother, they were talking to each other quietly. They heard me walk in, both their heads snapped up. Harry gave me a smile while Ryder just stared at me. Ryder was about to speak but I cut him off by walking into the kitchen. I strolled inside the baby blue colored kitchen, I grabbed a bottle of water and chugged it down. I heard heavy footsteps coming inside, I prayed to god that it wasn't Ryder. I kept praying until I saw a mop of brown hair and I groaned. It was Ryder, I slammed the fridge door shut and was about to walk out when something caught my wrist. I turned around to face, Ryder with his smirking face.

"You know you shouldn't provoke someone that will hurt you." he hissed but I knew it was his wolf. I glanced at his face to see his light blue eyes turn almost black. His brown hair turned pitch black. I gulped loudly while shivering in fear. His arm snaked around me, he pulled my waist and slammed me against his rock hard body. His amazing scent began filling my nostrils, driving me insane. I fought the urge to wrap my tiny arms around him, I looked at him with sad eyes. Why couldn't he just care about me instead of hurting me? Why can't he stop being so scary so I wouldn't be afraid of him? My mind began flooding with questions. The room started to moving, I began feeling dizzy from all the thinking. I shook my head hoping it would clear the thoughts in my head. I felt Ryder's warm lips lightly touch my neck, I felt the sparks go off as I felt his touch but I couldn't help but whimper. I was way to scared to move! I felt like if I moved an inch I would get ripped to pieces. His arms tighten around my waist, he held me closer. It was like he was afraid that I would vanish in thin air if he didn't hold me close.

"You don't know how much I love you." he mumbled in my curly hair, I felt his lips kiss the top of my head. I held my breath and waited for him to stop.

"I just wish you would believe it." he whispered making my body tingle.

"Ryder" I whispered, it came out as a squeak instead. He didn't answer, he just began kissing my neck again. I held back the moans, I had to be strong. I wasn't going to give into this monster.

"Ryder" I said it more in a clearer voice. He stopped, he didn't move away. He just stood there as if he was frozen solid.

"Lacey?" he said in a low voice that sent shivers down my spine. I felt his arms tighen again but this time it was harder for me to breathe.

"Yes?" I croaked, not moving a muscle.

"Do you love me?" he questioned, my body went into shock as what he asked transferred into my brain. Do I love him? I don't think so....

"Do you?" he asked again, his voice filled with worry and anger.

"No" I mumbled and that's when all hell broke loose. I was slammed up against the wall, my body cried in pain. I winced as the pain, tears came right away staining my rosy cheeks. I looked at Ryder to see his wolf that was back out. He glared at me and growled.

"Ryder stop!" I cried pushing him away but it did no good. He didn't even move an inch! He placed his hands above my head, his face was dangerously close to mine. My teeth began to chatter, I tried to lean my head back as I could but he just came closer.

"Lacey!" cried a voice behind us. I looked over to see Harry with a worry face. Ryder looked back and hissed "Get lost Harry!"

"Harry help!" I whimpered trying to get to him but Ryder's hand gripped my waist. His nails dug inside of me, making me scream in agony.

"Harry." I whimpered again hoping my only brother would come save me. Harry stood there looking scared and confused.

"I-I can't" he stuttered before walking out of the room. My eyes widen as I watched my only brother walk out on me.

"HARRY!" I screamed hopinghe would come back but he didn't. Ryder chuckled darkly and whispered in my ear.

"Now where were we?"
