"...Lyle?"

A low and hoarse voice. Karlyle can feel the warm air and at the same time, a dizzying amount of pheromone. He unconsciously takes a step back.

"Ah, I'm sorry."

Karlyle apologizes first. Ash's face is buried in the dark so it's too difficult to see his expression.

"How long have you been standing there?"

Ash's voice gets a little louder. His arm reaches out through the darkness and grabs his wrist. And Karlyle is pulled in. His frozen skin melts at once, and so does his heart. The door slams shut, and Karlyle falls into Ash's arms.

"Ash, your hands are hot. Are you okay?"

"I’m not the problem. How long have you been standing outside?"

"About…5 minutes."

His hot hands cup both his cheeks. Then their lips touch. Ash's lips are as hot as his hands. His body temperature is as high as the heat in the air.

"What should I do if you catch a cold?"

Ash says as if Karlyle is the only one sick, but it's so pretty to see Ash worrying about him in the midst of this. Ash gently rubs his chapped lips.

"But I was worried because you didn't answer the phone."

With sincerity, Karlyle whispers. He can feel the power rushing into the hands holding his cheeks. As if Ash wants to do it with him just like this, it's an action full of desire.

Exhaling quietly, Ash drags him away. His eyes, adapted to the darkness, can finally capture Ash's silhouette. They start climbing the stairs to the second floor. Ash is only wearing a bottom. He can see his muscles curves visible faintly in the dark.

The whole house is filled with pheromones, they overflow and coat around like a thick layer. Kyle's rut is also like this. Kyle has a rut once every 3 months, but before getting together with Nick, he endured it by using inhibitors.

Because of that, Kyle suffers from ruts like an illness. Ash is not even a dominant Alpha, but his pheromones surrounding the house are just as thick.
