Colby pov

It was another hour and still nothing I felt like I'm going insane that's when I saw 2 nurses rolled sam back in the room more cables on his tiny body he looked so white this broke me completely this picture will never leave me they put all the monitors and ivs in place as I watched the doc talk with Sam's parents when the nurses where done I pulled my chair on his bed again and immediately took his hand "hey baby I'm here I don't know if you can hear me but I want you to know that I love you so much - I love you okay and you are okay" silent tears rolling down my face his mom came and took his other hand "is he okay" I ask her she looked at me so worried that more tears rolled down my face "the doctor said he had a hole in one of his heart vains that they not saw befor they closed it know" so he will be okay " I ask her worried" let's hope and pray colby sam needs to fight now " this doesent sounds good at all I run my hand softly truth his hair" I love you baby you know that right I will forever love you " I said softly I looked up at his parents for a sec seeing them slightly smile and baby your parents are here to I said" hey Sammy boy mom and dad are here "his dad said mama is here to we love you Sammy you got this we know you will" she said running here hand over his arm carefully then I just randomly started to sing quietly "You are my sunshine my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are gray you'll never know dear how much I love you please don't take my sunshine away" that's when my eyes felt heavy and eventually I fell asleep holding Sam's hand

Sam's pov

I tried to open my eyes but they felt so heavy where am I what happened I opened my eyes a bit being blinded by the lights i looked to the right seeing colby asleep and to the left my parents my dad sleeping as well my mom on her phone what happened I thought to myself then it hit me all the memories omg I'm so happy to see colby then I put my fingers on my mom's hand she looked at me with wite eyes I put my finger on my mouth pointing to colby she just smiled happily at me she tips my dad on he opened his eyes seeing me, he was about to say something but my mom told him to let colby sleep "how long have I bin here" I whispered qietly 2 days Sammy we are so happy you are awake and colby has not left your side ones he is so stabburn my dad says "is he okay" I ask them "physically he is okay but mentally he is absolutely not" my mom says he was so worried sick we thought he will loose his mind I looked at him lovingly "he really loves you Sammy you have found the right guy for sure" my dad said slightly laughing "can you remember anything" my mom ask "just that he strapped me and that colby bragged me to stay awake and the paramedics then everything is black" I said oh and that someone sung for me at least I think so I said feeling still a bit out of it "yes colby sung for you it was the cutest think honestly" my mom said he's waking up Sammy my dad said pointing to him I turned my face looking at him he opened his eyes looking straight at me "Sammy" he whispered tears rolling down his checks "hey colbs" I smiled his just puts his head in my heck crying I love you - I love you - I love you so much he whispered making my heart brake "I love you to colby so much" he pulled away looking at me "im so sorry Sammy im so sorry" he cried I looked at him confused "for what colbs" that I didn't protect you I understand if you never forgive me for that " he said making my eyes water" colby don't ever say that you protected me I just couldn't watch him kill you, I had to do something " but not that I loos you for it baby I can't life without you I can't he said his voice breaking" baby I know and I can't without you that's why I did what I did but I'm here and fine and we can do everything together right?
