Max's POV

"Congratulations, Ms. Alonzo. Hindi talaga kami nagkamali na piliin ka at ang agency mo sa trabahong ito."

"Thank you, sir. It is our pleasure to work with you."

"Alam mo ba, itong asawa kong ito, napaka excited na makatrabaho ka." He said while holding his wife's hand, but his wife pushed his hand away?

I smiled na lang and nagpasalamat.

"Ms. Alonzo, when will you go back sa Philippines?" Mrs. Lee asked.

"Tomorrow night, Mrs. Lee." I answered and she nodded.

"Maiwan ko muna kayo." Mr. Lee said and left the two of us.

"Do you drink?"

"A little bit, ma'am." I answered.

She chuckled. "Please call me by my name. I am Flavi. We're ka age rin naman."

Kaya pala she looked young.

"My husband's 5 years older."

I nodded and wiped my mouth after I drank the wine.

"Why is your girlfriend not with you, Ms. Alonzo?"

"She's busy with her work." I reasoned out.

She nodded.

She slowly placed her hand on my arm.

I stood up. "Excuse me, but I need to go."

"Oh..sure. Ako na lang ang magsasabi sa ASAWA ko." She said with a hint of annoyance.

She looked pissed, but I don't care.

She just touched me, but I feel like I am cheating.

I immediately entered my car papuntang hotel.

I can't sleep as soon as I go inside my bedroom kaya I decided na magtungo muna sa bar dito sa hotel.

I needed a drink.

After what happened at the airport, I didn't contact Margarette or said anything kasi I don't even know what to say. It's better to ask for forgiveness sa personal lang.

Yeah, I'll ask for forgiveness once I go back.

I hope she won't slap me.. I don't want to end up like Night...

"Eyyyy!!! Pasalubong-"

I pushed his face away and didn't bother to stop from walking papunta sa loob ng van.

"Grabeh ka. Parang hindi mo ako na miss ah."

"I didn't."

"So saan nga pala tayo? Sa condo mo?"

"Office."

"It's 8 pm, Max. What will you do sa office at this hour?"

"Work."

"Anong work? I-uuwi na kita. Maaga pa tayo bukas."

"Fine. There were no problems naman while I wasn't here, Hiro?"

He started driving. "Nope."

"Okay na lahat for tomorrow's outing?"

"Yes. May sinama nga pala kami."
