"Y/N!!!" Sunwoo exclaimed cheerfully hopping towards your seat.
"Geez, you're early and you're being so noisy Sunwoo. " You complained scurrying through your notes to review.
"You're so pretty today." He said out of nowhere. He also tucked some strands of your hair on your ear.
"I know. You don't have to tell me that." You said nonchalantly still focused on reviewing. He gently grab your chin to the side and made you look at him.
This time, you stop and glared. You pulled your chin away from Sunwoo's touch, your glare intensifying.
"Sunwoo, I've told you before, don't invade my personal space like that," you said firmly, your tone conveying your frustration.
Sunwoo's face fell, realizing he had once again crossed a boundary. "I'm really sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," he apologized sincerely, his eyes reflecting regret.
Taking a deep breath, you decided to soften your expression. As annoyed as you were, you knew that Sunwoo didn't mean any harm. "Just remember to ask before touching someone, okay?" you reminded him, your voice gentler this time.
Sunwoo nodded, his smile returning, albeit a bit sheepishly. "You're right, Y/N. I should have asked first. I'll remember that."
As the tension eased, you resumed your studying, trying to refocus on your notes. But Sunwoo wasn't ready to give up just yet. He took a seat beside you, his eyes fixed on the pages you were flipping through.
"What's so interesting in those notes anyway?" he asked, curiosity shining in his eyes.
You couldn't help but chuckle at his persistence. "Well, it's a subject I find fascinating. I'm studying for an upcoming exam."
Sunwoo leaned closer, peering at the text on the page. "Can I help you study?" he offered, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.
You raised an eyebrow, surprised by his sudden eagerness. "Are you sure? You're not distracting me again, are you?"
He shook his head, his expression earnest. "No distractions, I promise. I want to make it up to you."
With a shrug, you handed him a spare notebook. "Alright then, if you're serious about it, we can study together."
As you spent the afternoon studying side by side, Sunwoo surprised you with his dedication and genuine effort to help. He may have been playful and occasionally overstepped boundaries, but he proved that he could also be dependable when it mattered.
As the day came to an end, you closed your books and stretched, feeling satisfied with the progress you had made. You looked at Sunwoo, who was watching you intently.
