Inside the bookshop, it was rather crowded with a large line of people flowing out. The cause for this was the large piles of books around moving posters reading: Gilderoy Lockhart Magical Me.

"Not that tosser." James groaned.

"You know him?" Hermione asked, furrowing his brows.

"Do we know him? He's the biggest prick in the year." Young Sirius scoffed.

"Ravenclaw boy with weirdly white teeth, apparently he uses muggle products as well as wizard potions to get them to white. He had chunky braces all the way through first and second year. Everyone called him train tracks for two years and they still did through third year but then some of the girls started thinking he was handsome and he always had a different girlfriend each week to everyone started called him railways." Marlene explained.

"Railways?" Ron asked.

"Because he gets a lot of girls Ronald." Nova explained.

"And because he had train tracks in his mouth, couldn't lose that aspect." James added.

"Hang on How's he written a book." Mary asked.

"I agree he's about as dim as a dead lightbulb." James scoffed.

"Just about as smart as my left sock." Young Sirius agreed.

Hermione led Harry along the queue to where the Weasley's were stood with Hermione's parents and the Tonks'. "Oh Harry!" Mrs Weasley said in relief once she caught sight of the boy. "Thank goodness we'd hoped you'd only gone one grate too far." She began to brush off some of the soot from his robes.

"Knockturn Alley? Hmm?" Nova asked.

"How'd you know." Harry nodded sheepishly.

"You look slightly scared, saw you out there with Hagrid. Everyone knows that Hagrid shops in Knockturn Alley. He says it's easier to find things and apparently he gets stuff for all his animals and the crops and stuff." Nova told him.

"Everyone knows that do they?" Hagrid asked.

"Most of the older ones do." Nova nodded.

"So how did you know? You were only a second year." Older Sirius asked.

"Slytherins do talk to each other you know. Other houses may not mix year groups but we certainly do." Nova said.
