Time passed. A lot of time. Y/n sat straight for 3 days on the same tree and came down not once. Only at night she dared to step on the ground to do the most necessary things. Her parents tried everything so that she finally moved from the tree but in vain. Not even her siblings managed to get to her. Y/n also got something to eat but she touched it only sporadically...
-

Night had just fallen and I was still sitting high up in the treetops. But slowly my anger subsided. I decided to lie down in my mat. Quietly I climbed down the tree and let myself slide onto the soft net. Everyone was already asleep, thank Eywa.

...

By quiet voices I wake up. "Kiri y/n is here." I recognized that it was my smallest sister Tuk. I blinked and opened my eyes. Large golden eyes stared at me. I couldn't react that quickly, she was already in my arms. "I'm so happy!" She said, relieved. I couldn't help but smile. "Yes y/n we really are." Came now from Kiri which also hugged me. "Dad told us everything. Don't worry about it. We love you anyways." Like a sting the words hit me. For a moment, I hadn't thought about it at all.

...

Together we walked to the clan. Today there was a lot of activity at the gathering place. "Mom Dad look who's here!" Tuk called out. I didn't want all the attention to be drawn to me, but too late. Everyone turned around to see what was going on. Embarrassed, I looked down and heard my mother sigh. She came up to me and hugged me tightly. "I'm sorry." She said softly. "It's okay." Was all I could get out. I wasn't very good at that. She solved away from me again. My two brothers came up to me and hugged me too. "It's good to have you back." Lo'ak smiled at me. "Finally." Came from Neteyam. Now I saw my father as well. Embarrassed, I looked up at him. He was standing quite a distance away from me, looking me straight in the eye. He seemed to be thinking and did not move a muscle. Suddenly the feeling of shame and embarrassment spread through me. I was afraid that he was angry with me. But not a second later he knelt down and spread his arms. Relieved and sobbing, I ran to him and fell into his arms. "It's okay." He whispered. I lifted my head from his shoulder. He took my face in his hands and looked at me with sad eyes. "I know I should have told you right away and it-." I interrupted him by hugging him tightly once again. I just wanted to put this subject behind me now. It hurts too much to talk about it. "Okay." I heard my dad smile at that and we solved away. "My daughter is back!" He exclaimed happily to the people, raising his arm in triumph. I couldn't help but laugh a little with happiness.

...

The evening approached and my father called the whole clan together for a joint dinner. We sat around a big fire. There was laughter, dancing and of course eating. I finally felt good again, even if sometimes my thoughts tried to throw a spanner in the works.

Meanwhile, a radio message was received at the Sky People headquarters. An image of a terrified human woman with a bow appeared on the screen. "Sir I think we have something."
-

Slowly our little celebration ended and everyone went to bed. All except me. Alone, I still sat in front of the remaining embers of the fire, poking at them. I need answers. I want to know where I came from. Thoughts were racing through my head, so I didn't even notice that someone had sat down next to me. "Your father didn't want it to come to this." I flinched slightly as I heard my grandmother's voice. "I know." I replied absently. My gaze still fixed on the embers. "You know, he was just trying to protect you. From the sky people and.... just from everything." I said nothing. "It's going to be okay. You have to trust in Eywa." "I do." "I know you do darling." She stood up and was about to leave until she turned around again for a moment. "But don't you do anything stupid and go see the sky people again." "Sure grandmother I promise." I returned knowing that I would probably not be able to keep that promise...
