He collapsed. We laid him at the stack of straws. Gladly there were no needles there. He was very exhausted. He breathed slowly. Riley got his aid kit. Not just good in cooking, he was good at aiding too. He took a cotton a poured a drop of iodine and spread it at the wounds. In a second, he plastered the man with the wound plasters while I cleaned his filthy face with a wet cloth. After we'd done the cleaning and aiding, Riley made a porridge for the man. It's hard for him to swallow the food while he collapsed. The porridge was left half so me and Riley shared each other. We hadn't eat anything since last night's dinner.

The sky was rough, we sat near the man's straw.

"Rave, do you have any idea who's this person" said Riley curiously

"No. Not even think about it. He's like a bowman but..."

"Did he say anything to you?"

"Well, I found him bleeding on the hip and he said that he's okay. He just need to find his gang."

"Gang?"

"Yes. I don't know what that means. Maybe he's separated with group back then"

Riley nodded "Good analysis, Raff"

"I told you not to call me Raff" I giggled and hit his arm

After a few chit chats with Riley, the man woke and he opened his eyes. We rushed to him to check his condition.

"Where am I?" the man said

"Buddy, you're at the one and only ranch here. Glad you're awake" Riley smiled at him

"Yes, you're sleep within a few hours. And you can't finish your porridge" I said with a cheering voice

"Ranch? Porridge? Jeez, who are you guys?"

"Oh, sorry we forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Anderson. Ravine Anderson. And this is my brother Riley."

"We used to live here with our uncle. But he died because of the brain cancer"

He kept staring at us like something strange happened. And yes. It was strange.

"Oh... Sorry about your uncle, Andersons." He scanned the whole ranch and his body "What happened to me?"

"My sister found you in the woods when she was hunting for food. And then she saw you and brought you here. You were bleeding on the hip. What happened?"

"I don't quite remember" he stopped for a while

"Wait. I was on a mission with the others. Captain ordered me to turn off the beacon on the tower. And then, the soldiers shot me with a gun. The soldiers dumped me in a woods. The group couldn't reach me. I walked painfully to find a way out and..." he stared at me

"And you found me"

We were still confused of what the man said. It was confusing.

"What do you mean by soldiers and beacon and group?" Riley asked

"I'm in a group called the Avengers. Nick Fury, the commander of S.H.I.E.L.D organization gave us a mission to turn off the beacon at the Empire State Building, New York. The beacon was a portal to another dimension. Another world. I was at the top of the building. I aimed the power source and almost released my arrow. But a group of the 'other dimension' soldier shot me and somehow they dumped me in the woods. And I meet you guys. It's kinda unbelievable but you have to trust me. This is real"

"Wait. Now you've mentioned all those strange things, we don't know who you are and we can't trust strangers"

The man laughed

"Why are you laughing? Is this kinda joke?"

"No, it's just, you kids are really funny. That theory your sister said about trusting strangers makes me laugh. It's very childish"

Without a doubt, I took my arrow and aimed it at him

"Talk about it once again, I'm gonna release this arrow to your head"

"Woah, easy kid. Don't easily get mad. You get mature in a second kid"

Riley whispered to me to put down the bow. I put back my arrow and dropped my bow to the straw. This guy was one nasty person I've ever met in my life.

"Now, tell me who you are" I asked him harshly

"I'm Barton. Clint Barton. You can call me Clint. They usually know me as Hawkeye"
