Garra One Shot ~ Two Heartbeats

I grabbed the ball from the roof and as usual the kids freaked out.

"Stay away from us monster." but the youngest girl in the group scowled at her friends. This surprised me.

"Shut up!" she cried they all looked at her like she was crazy ok so did I she was the first one not to look at me with hate. It was amazing. "Leave him alone." what the kids did then shocked and angered me. They turned on her jeered at her and shoved her onto the floor.

"Leave her alone." I growled and started to shake instantly the kids ran away. The girl grounded sitting up and holding her eye for a moment before getting up and walking towards me wiping tears from her eyes.

"Arent you scared of me?" I asked.

"No course not why should I be?" she asked I was surprised to see her black eye.

"Because I'm a monster." I said my fingers digging into the ball.

"Your not a monster." she said smiling "Your just special." and with that she hugged me.

"Don't worry I won't let those mean kids pick on you anymore from now it doesn't matter your my friend ok and as long as we're together everything's gonna be alright." I couldn't believe it I froze as I felt her touch me. No one touched me it was a foreign feeling and yet...I liked it I didn't feel lonely anymore.

"It's ok Garra." she laughed hugging me round the chest as she was shorter than me "See?" her bright smile her warmth it was so foreign it was so...precious. I couldn't kill her something in me and the beast knew that not because it was impossible but because I didn't want to.

"You know my name..." I mumbled yet she wasn't afraid if anything she looked excited.

"Of course I do. Oh my names Risa By the way." she said smiling. "Hey do you wanna play with me?"

For once Garra felt in his heart that fabled word, love as he nodded and allowing her to take his hand let her pull him through the village.

Eleven years later.

"Look Garra isnt this fun!" I looked up pausing in my walk to see Risa hanging upside down from a tree branch above my head. I sighed as I did. Risa had grown up so much, she was still shorter than me by half a head but she had big chest tiny waist and nice behind to match. She was gorgeous her golden hair in a braid her bangs well when she wasn't hanging upside dusting her sparkling crystal blue eyes.

"Risa come down from there." I told her. She pouted swingi up into a standing position on the branch.

"But it's fun." she pouted jumping forward and landing on a branch to swing upside right in my path.

"Your just going to get hurt again and I'm not going to carry you again if you do." I told her as she scrambled up onto the branch before I ran into her head. A weight landed on my back and I looked back to see her piggybacking the gourd.

"Nope your going to give me one anyway because you love me right?" she asked beaming her usual grin as her arms wound around my neck.

"Whatever you say." I responded.

"Your such a great guy." Risa squeezed my neck tight pecked my cheek then ran off swinging into the trees and away up ahead.

"Garras got a girlfriend Garras got a-ouch!" Kankuro winced as my sand punched him in the arm. "What it's true!" he protested as Temari went ahead to check on how far away the cillage was when we all knew she was checking on Risa because she had practically a mothering instinct towards her in the I'm your older sister and I need to take care of you way.
