038- Getting Into The Vault

I opened my eyes and I was on a beach. I didn't know where I was but I had remembered exactly what had happened. I looked to my left and I could see Dobby, the elf, crouching over with his hands on his side. My eyes were still adjusting but as my vision became clear again I saw Harry run over to Dobby. I quickly got up from the wet, sandy ground and started running over to them as everyone else did. I was wobbling a bit due to getting up at such a fast pace.

When we got over to Harry he was holding Dobby in his arms, Dobby had died. Bellatrix must have killed him when we apparated.

We all comforted Harry and then walked from the ocean to the dry, sand dunes and we made a grave for him. Harry sat at the grave for a while as me, Ron, Hermione and Luna went to speak to Bill and Fleur. We had somehow apparated to where Bill and Fleur were living but they didn't mind us staying there with them for a while and they were very welcoming. They wanted to talk to me so I sat with them around a table but the others decided to join too.

"So, Y/n is it?" Bill asked me.

"Yes, Y/n Y/l/n." I introduced myself and smiled.

"Ron's never mentioned you before, are you new at Hogwarts?" Bill asked me in a nice way, but before i could even open my mouth Fleur started whispering to Bill. Suddenly his eyes went wide open and he started at me. "It's you! I know who you are!" He then said excitedly and proudly as if he had just solved a crime.

"You do?" I asked him, tilting my head in confusion.

"Everyone knows who you are now, you're in the papers." Fleur answered instead of Bill. My eyes widened, I didn't realise I was getting hunted down. I pretty much had a bounty on my head at this point.

"So does this mean everyone is after me now?" I asked them in a worried tone, emphasising on the word 'everyone'.

"I'm afraid so, you're famous pretty much." Bill told me.

"Not in a good way though." I said back. I started to worry, everyone knows i'm being hunted now.

"We don't understand Y/n. You're a pure blood Slytherin from a wealthy family who is close to you-know-who and your ex-boyfriends father was you-know-who. Why didn't you join them in becoming a death eater?" Bill changed the topic and asked me.

"I've never agreed with the crimes my relatives have committed but i've stood by because I chose not to disobey my father. I couldn't bare the thought of becoming a death eater, I had to refuse." I explained to them.

"Smart choice." Bill said simply. Everyone seemed to be a bit speechless.

"Sorry for all the questions Y/n, we don't mean to intimidate you." Fleur apologised in a soft tone.

"No no, don't be. After all, it must be pretty dangerous for me to be here." I said with a nervous laugh.

"Dangerous?" Ron asked me from beside me.

"I'm putting you all at risk, I shouldn't be here. They're all searching for me, I could get killed." I told them.

"They won't find you here, no one knows where we are." Bill tried to reassure me but all I could do was give him a small smile. Before anything else could be said, Harry had quickly walked into the room.

"I need to speak to the Goblin." He told us all. Bill nodded his head and leaded Harry, Ron and Hermione upstairs which was probably where the goblin was. Me and Luna were still at the table but we didn't speak.

A while later Harry, Ron and Hermione came downstairs and walked towards me and Luna.

"Your father wants to speak with you, Luna." Harry told her as her father was upstairs too. Luna nodded her head and started heading upstairs. In the meantime, Harry grabbed my arm, pulled me from the chair and started walking me towards the beach.

"What are you doing?" I asked him in a bitter tone.

"We can't explain but all you need to know is that Hermione is going to use a potion to look like Bellatrix and we're going to sneak into her vault." Harry summarised his plan which made me speechless.

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked him, very confused.

"You're going to be under the invisible cloak with me, that's all you need to know." Harry told me. I nodded my head as I was still confused but didn't want to ask anymore questions.

Hermione, Ron and Harry all went down the hill that we were on and I was stuck at the top. About ten minutes later they all came back and Hermione looked just like Bellatrix, it was scary.

"Right, let's go." Harry told us. We all put our hands on top of each others and Griphook (the goblins) was the last hand to join ours. We all then apparated to outside of Gringotts. Griphook got on Harry's back and i stood next to him as Ron threw the invisibility cloak on us.

We all entered Gringotts and Hermione started stumbling in her heels as she as walking towards the elf at the front. She then reached him but he didn't look at her, he kept writing on pager until she cleared her throat and he finally looked up.

"I wish to enter my vault." Hermione spoke loudly with her arms crossed.

"Identification?" The elf said, looking back down at his paper.

"I hardly think that'll be necessary." She spoke proudly.

"Madam Lestrange." The elf spoke as he looked up to see her. He then turned around and walked back to somewhere behind him.

"I don't like to be kept waiting." Hermione spoke trying to sound bitter or rude but it wasn't really working.

"They know, they know she's an imposter." Griphook whispered to me and Harry as a security guard behind us started walking towards us.

"Madam Lestrange, would you mind presenting your wand?" The elf said as he came back with another one. I started to get worried, they definitely knew.

"And why should I do that?" Hermione asked with her head high.

"It's the banks policy. I'm sure you understand given the current climate." The elf stated.

"No, I most certainly do not understand!" Hermione said, starting to get frustrated. Me and Harry had started walking over to the front desk where the two elves were. I'm not sure what he was going to do.

"I'm afraid I must insist." The elf then said.

"Imperio." Harry whispered to the elf and suddenly it started smiling.

"Very well Madam Lestrange, if you will follow me." The elf then said. What just happened? Did Harry just use a spell on the elf?

We all followed the elf and he lead us to some sort of carriage. We all got into it and it started moving very fast, it seemed to be a type of transport. Not a very stable ride but we got to where we needed to be eventually. The ride came to a stop and we all stared at eachother confused until we heard a creak. Suddenly the bottom of the carriage opened and we all screamed as we all fell out.

"Arresto momentum." Hermione shouted and we all stopped falling right before we hit the ground. The spell she carded made us levitate so we wouldn't die. We all stood up and we were in a cave. We all stared at eachother and I noticed that Hermione was Hermione again.

"Oh no, you look like you again." Ron panted as he stared at Hermione.

"The thief's downfall washes away all enchantments. Can be deadly." The goblin told us.

"You don't say." Ron said sarcastically. "Just out of interest, is there any other way out of here?" He then asked the goblin.

"No" He answered back.

"What the devil are all you doing down here?" The elf then asked us bitterly. Oh no, the spell wore off. "Thieves!" He then shouted. Before he could say anything else, Harry casted the imperio spell on him again to make him nicer.

Suddenly we all stood still as we heard a frightening roar come echo from the cave. We weren't alone down here.

"That doesn't sound good." Ron said.

No Ron, it does not sound good.
