"Have you ever thought you liked someone but weren't sure?" (Y/N) Asked Turning to Huening Kai.
"Is that what happened with soobin?" Huening Kai turned to her with a confused look.
"Yes but no. I used to like soobin, that's a given but I stopped, and I think it's cause i like someone else."
(Y/N) pursed her lips together looking down at her hands leaning back in her chair.
"Jinja???"
"Hm?"
"Oh sorry I mean. Really??" Kai looked at (Y/N) Shocked.
"I didn't know you were close to enough people to gain feelings for someone" (Y/N) hit his arm with an annoyed look.
"You're really antisocial. I thought you were antiromantic for a while" (sorry i'm an anti romantic. I'm sorry I had to. Im a multi stan)
Kai made a quick smile then went back to talking. "But who is it? Wait. Wait wait wait. Is It Daniel???"
(Y/N) eyes went wide "No it's not him he is my best friend, plus honestly he is a little too narcissistic for me." (Narcissistic my god i love it. Ok i'll stop now.Stan IVE)
Kai frowned "I wanna be your best friend..."
"Hey i've known Dan longer"
"Alright class, start reading the instructions on page 35 about dissection lab safety, tomorrow we are gonna explore sheep eyes"
Kai went to the back and got the book off the shelf for them to share.
"So if it's not Dan then who?" Kai asks, opening the book.
"I'm not saying until i know for sure" (Y/N) read the first step talking about gloves, "Where do we keep the gloves again?"
"Cabinet in the front. You know if you want to know you could think about kissing the person. If you're weirded out you don't like them. Just don't get confused about whether you're ok with it or if you enjoy the thought." Kai stated as he copied things down in his notebook.
"Is that seriously how you test if you like someone?" She looked at him, raising a brow.
"Well im a very friendly person and sometimes i don't know if the affection im showing for people is Sibling type or Crush type, so yes." He looked back up at (Y/N).
"Like you for instance. When I think about kissing you I don't get flustered or anything so I don't like you, I wouldn't object to kissing you because you're like a sister to me. Like kiss on the forehead type stuff. Nothing weird though." (Y/N) furrowed her brows
"You think about kissing me???"
"Hey don't take it in a weird way, Pabo.'' Kai pushed her head back slightly.
"What is pabo Daniel says it to me constantly?" Kai laughed a little and (Y/N) went back to taking some notes.
"Its korean, Its Dumb or Stupid" (Y/N) smacked the back of his head slightly.
"I'm gonna kill Dan. He says that to me like 10 times a day." Kai shakes his head.
"Can I ask you a favor?" Kai hummed in response, looking at what he was writing in his notebook.
"Can you teach me korean?" Kai looked over at her. "Is Yunho struggling that much with English or. Wait"
He squinted at (Y/N)
"Oh my god you like Yunho!?"
She covered Huening Kai's mouth. "Say it a little louder. I don't think his dad in korea heard"
(Y/N) wasn't sure but lately with yunho she had been feeling a little strange. It's bad because She lives with him and after the school year Yunho would go back to Korea. But she needed to figure this out.
"So can you or not?" (Y/N) put her hands together "Please?" Huening sighed, "I'll try but only if you help me in history."
"Deal" She put her fist up for a fist bump and he followed.
(Y/N) Pov
I was headed towards third hour when I heard someone calling for me. When I looked back I saw soobin sprinting towards me.
"(Y/N) are you ok?" He looked at me worried as we kept walking to class.
"Yeah i'm sorry about earlier, I don't really know what was going on this weekend i just didn't want social interactions. I guess Yunho just assumed" he nodded.
"I am really sorry if i hurt you in any way i really wasn't expecting this" I shook my head.
"Soobin you are fine, I'm not mad at you. We wouldn't have worked out anyways because I realized I don't like you in that way."
Soobin stopped in front of me "Are you positive?" I gave a reassuring smile
"Yes I'm sure now let's get to class. You're overreacting" I laughed a little and pushed him towards class.
"I just don't want things to be awkward."
"Don't worry it isn't, At least not for me"
Soobin smiled "Good, I wouldn't want to have to swap lab partners" he laughed a little. I laughed too and we both went to class.
