Chapter 18

Yunho Pov

I eventually caught up to Yeonjun as he was walking out of the school to the student parking.

"Yah yeonjun what's going on?'' I chased after him. "What's going on is that soobin doesn't care about other people and he is selfish!"

I grabbed his arm when we stepped out of the doors. "What did he do?" Yeonjun turned to me.

"(Y/N) likes soobin. But Soobin just got out of a relationship. One that lasted for several years. What they have isn't healthy" I looked at him confused.

"Are you implying soobin is using (Y/N) as a rebound? I'm sorry yeonjun but i can't see soobin doing that" yeonjun scoffed. "If (Y/N) likes Soobin and is finally with her crush shouldn't you be happy for her as her best friend?" at this point we were walking towards yeonjuns car i think. "Well yes maybe but she could get hurt!"

"Yeonjun i know you probably care about her but when soobin came up to here this morning he seemed really happy. So maybe you're just worrying too much?" Yeonjun sighed.

"I just don't trust it." He unlocked a car and opened the back, putting his bag in. "Where are you going?" He closed the door and opened the front.

"I just need a break. I cant see whatever that was without wanting to hurt someone so I'm just gonna get away from the school. Are you coming?" I looked at the school then back at him.

I thought about it then nodded and got in.

Yeonjun Pov

I took Yunho home at the same time school would be over. (Y/N) car was there as well. I know that the two weren't together so I drove to the park and called up soobin.

"Hello"

"Explain to me why the fvck you and (Y/N) are dating"

Soobin sighed on the other line. "I asked her to fake date me as a friendly favor"

"God, you really are a Pabo. After all these years you have never noticed!"

"I don't know what you're talking about!"

"(Y/N) Likes you ashole open your eyes. You asking to "fake" date probably is shredding her to pieces!"

The other end was quiet.

"I thought you said you wanted a relationship so why did you ask for a fake one instead?"

It was quiet again

"Did you actually want to start fresh or are you trying to make cassie jealous so that she will come back to you!"

"Does (Y/N) really like me?"

"Oh what now you feel guilty for what you're doing. This is why I punched you. I don't want you to hurt her!"

All you heard from the other end was a call hanging up. "He hung up!" I kicked the bench I was next to then sat down.

"Damn it soobin. Out of everyone you chose the one who will hurt most."

(Y/N) Pov

I was sitting in my room crying. Was Dan mad at me. If he didn't want me to date soobin why didn't he tell me?

"(Y/N)" I heard Yunho at my door. I wiped my tears away and sat up.

"Come in?"

"Hey Yeonjun just dropped me off..." Yunho stepped in slowly.

I nodded at him then looked at my phone to see if Dan had texted. "Is he ok? Do you know why he punched him?" Yunho came over and sat next to me on the bed.

"We left the school so he could cool off. He told me why I just can't say anything you should ask him yourself."

"Oh god he hates me!" I grabbed my knees and started crying. As much as I wanted to look strong, I couldn't help it. Yeonjun is my best friend.

"Hey no no no. He doesn't hate you, I'm sure of that. He cares deep about you'' Yunho put his hand on my shoulder.

"Then why is he so mad about me and soobin dating Why didn't he text me after!" I kept crying into my knees then I felt Yunho wrap his arms around me.

"I'm not good at this stuff but I know. Yeonjun don't hate you." I slowly stopped crying as I snuggled up into Yunho's warmth.

"Are you sure?" Yunho hummed back, holding me tighter.

I felt so calm like this. It was so soothing I didn't want it to end. Until my phone went off and sat up to check.

"Um I'll be right back..."
