"How is Behrman for Christmas time?" Princeton asked as we talked on Skype.

"I have a math project due in a few days and an English project due when we get back from break. So I'll be working on it during the break." I groaned.

"Aww. That sucks, babe." Princeton whined. "What fun things are going on?"

"The eighth grade Christmas party." I smiled.

"Oooh. Someone's excited." He laughed.

"Yes I am. We gonna turn up for our party." I did a stupid dance.

"I wish I could come." He sighed.

"And you can because I just invited you, Ray, Roc, and Prod." I smirked.

"Can you do that?" He asked.

"I just did, bae." I smirked.

"Artemis..." Princeton whined.

"Princeton..." I mocked him. He stuck his tongue out at me and I did it back.

"Will you come? It'll be my Christmas present?" I asked, fluttering my eyelashes and poking out my bottom lip.

"I..uh..I have to ask Walter, Keisha, and Kenneth. I already know that the boys wanna come." Princeton said, dazed by my pouting lips.

"Go ask! Now! Go. I wanna try and beg Keisha." I ordered as someone knocked on the front door. I got off my bed and opened the front door for Brittany, Isis, and Jari.

"What's good?" Isis greeted as she laid on my bed.

"Talking to Princeton." Jari rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Hey Artemis. Why is Prince following me around?" Keisha asked me as her face appeared on my phone screen. I heard Prodigy, Ray, Roc, Princeton, and Myles talking in the background.

"Because I have a question for you, Miss Keisha." I smiled sweetly.

"What do you want?" Keisha narrowed her eyes.

"Can the boys come to our eighth grade Christmas party?" I asked. Isis, Brittany, and Jari squealed.

"I'll have to see. You know the boys want to go home as soon as possible and I don't know if we could make it with the schedule." Keisha sighed. 

All of our faces fell. The boys were quiet in the background.

"Oh. Okay. It's fine. It was just a thought anyway." I said looking at the girls. They looked just how I felt.

"Will y'all be okay?" Keisha asked.

"Girl, we'll fine. That's the business. We understand that they can't be here when we want them. It's cool." I smiled. Even though it was fake, I made sure Keisha couldn't tell how upset I was.

"Alright. I'll let Princeton talk to you again." Keisha smiled sadly. I smiled at her before Princeton's face appeared in the screen again.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine. We're fine. We'll live." I said casually.

"Stop frontin', Goddess. We all know you want to break down crying." Roc said in the background.

"Ain't nobody gonna cry, but you, boy." Isis rolled her eyes.

"We're really sorry, girls." Prodigy said.

"It's fine. We have to go. We have practice. Bye guys." Jari said.

"Bye girls." They said.

"Bye." Isis and Brittany waves.

"Hey Princeton." I blew a kiss to Princeton and he blew one back.

"Mi amor." Princeton said sadly.

I ended the call and looked at the girls. We sighed and went to the back room to practice.
