There was some things.. some things that were happening.. okay?

Oh, yeah, totally. Things you could've talked to me about, but you didn't.

"TURN HERE" MAX SAID taking her head away from the window that she was leaning on.

Dustin looked ahead before looking back at Max. "Here?" He asked unsure. Max looked at him and nodded.

The brunette girl knew where they were. She had been here before. With Max and without. Sometimes Max would come here just to be here. The red-head had said she found it 'oddly comforting'. Jayden agreed.

It was the cemetery Billy had been buried at, Jayden knew this had something to do with the letters, but she didn't know what. That was until she looked down at Max's hands again and caught a glimpse of a letter with Billy written on the envelope.

Steve stopped the car where Max had told him to. Said girl got out of the car, Jayden, subconsciously, followed behind. "Max?" The red-head turned around. "Jayden, please, just wait in the car." She turned around and continued to walk forward.

Jayden sped up, rushing to reach Max. "Max. Wait." She begged. Max turned around finally paying attention to the brunette. "Just listen, please."

Max stayed quiet to let Jayden know she could speak. "I know something happened with your mom." She mumbled. "I felt it." The red-head stayed quiet. "Was it Vecna?"

"I told you, I'm fine." Max reassured. "Okay?" She plastered on a fake smile. "I mean, as fine as someone who's hurtling towards a gruesome death can be." She joked before looking down awkwardly.

Jayden shook her head. "Rose... you know you can talk to me. Right?" Max nodded. "Yeah, I know that."

"Okay, then why do you keep pushing me away?" Jayden motioned to herself. She removed the letter from her jacket pocket. "Look, I don't need a letter. I don't want a letter. Especially if the letter is written just in case you die." Jayden shook her head while slamming her arms down to her sides. "Please, just talk to me. To your friends." Jayden motioned to the car. "We're right here."
